    • To provide a calendar mechanism wherein the building-in property of a second date indicator is improved, and an analog timepiece equipped therewith. A calendar mechanism of an analog timepiece includes a first date indicator which includes a first date character indication portion, a first date indicator gear portion, and an endless ring-shaped drive cam portion; a drive cam lever which includes an operating lever portion including a first fan-shaped gear portion, wherein a driven lever portion is spring loaded in order to become a cam follower, and the operating lever portion is pivoted in accordance with the driven lever portion abutting against the drive cam portion; a second date indicator which, being rotatable, includes a second date character indication portion and a second fan-shaped gear portion meshing with the first fan-shaped gear portion; and a positioning/locking portion. In a case in which the tens column of the date is 0, one portion of the drive cam lever abuts against the positioning/locking portion, causing the cam follower of the driven lever portion to remain in a condition out of contact with an invalid cam face portion of the cam face of the drive cam portion.

    • The present invention aims to provide a watch with a calendar mechanism which has a first date indicator and a second date indicator and which is of a satisfactory operability. The watch with a calendar mechanism of the present invention is equipped with a second date indicator feeding lever adapted to move based on the rotation of the first date indicator and to rotate the second date indicator. The first date indicator includes first date indicator tooth portions, and calendar shift teeth. The calendar shift teeth consist of a first calendar shift tooth, a second calendar shift tooth formed at an interval of (360*2/31) degrees in a first direction using the first calendar shift tooth as a reference, a third calendar shift tooth formed at an interval of (360*9/31) degrees in the first direction using the second calendar shift tooth as a reference, and a fourth calendar shift tooth formed at an interval of (360*10/31) degrees in a direction opposite to the first direction using the first calendar shift tooth as a reference.

    • Date system for a horological movement comprising a tens disc (2) connected to a star wheel (4) driven by a first drive device (12), and a units disc (1) driven by a second drive device (13). The said drive devices (12, 13) are connected to a rocker (9) which works with cams (10, 11) connected to a driving runner (5), which effects one rotation per month.     • A calendar mechanism for a timepiece having indicators for the day of the month and for the day of the week, in which the indicators are held in each position by a locking lever pivotally mounted for movement between operative and inoperative position with respect to the indicators. The locking lever has two integral arms, one cooperating with each of the indicators for locking and releasing them. The driving member which indexes the indicators once every twenty-four hours is provided with means for urging the locking lever into its operative position at all times except when the indicators are being indexed to new positions, so that the indicators remain in place when they are not being driven but can be independently reset at any time.

    • In a calendar watch, a day and date drive and dial indicator stepping mechanism including a pair of rotatably driven cams, the cams being geared to revolve at relatively different rates, one of the cams rotating at the rate of one revolution per day and operable to advance a day-indicator dial one step each day, and the second of the cams rotating at a rate of n revolutions per day, n being an integer greater than one, the second cam being rotatable about a shaft slidably engaged in a guide groove, means being provided to shift the second cam for periodic engagement with and to advance a date-indicating calendar ring one step for each n revolutions of the cam, whereby very rapid date and day setting and correction are rendered feasible.
