摘要： A concentrated blix solution composition, which can remarkably reduce the replenishing amount of the blix solution and/or remarkably reduce the blix time, comprises: 1) a concentrated composition part containing a bleaching agent; and 2) a concentrated composition part containing a fixing agent, wherein the part concentrated composition 1) satisfies all the following conditions: (1) pH is from 2.0 to 3.5, (2) a specific gravity is 1.130 or more, (3) the bleaching agent comprises an iron(III) complex salt of an aminopolycarboxylic acid, (4) a concentration of the bleaching agent is from 0.5 to 1.0 mole/L, and (5) a content of an aminopolycarboxylic acid having not been complexed is from 0.1 to 3% by mole based on the bleaching agent, and a processing process using the same.

摘要： A method for reducing curl in a stored photographic film which aids in preventing serious difficulties with downstream film transport and handling of the film. The film, which has been stored as a roll wound on a first core or mandrel is unwound from the first core and wound onto a second core or mandrel in a first direction. The film is then unwound from the second core to yield a traveling web portion. The traveling web portion is preheated to a predetermined temperature while being continuously delivered to a housing. The film is wound onto a third core or mandrel located within the housing in a direction opposite the first direction where it is maintained at about the same predetermined temperature.

摘要： Heat-sealable laminates useful as packaging materials, for example, for the packaging of photographic processing chemicals, are comprised of a layer of metal foil, an outer heat-sealable layer of a radiation-cured and heat-fused polymeric composition, and a radiation-cured chemically-resistant polymeric interlayer between the foil and the outer layer. The laminates are manufactured by coating a metal foil with a radiation-curable composition that is capable of forming a chemically-resistant layer upon radiation curing, irradiating the coating to cure it, overcoating with a radiation-curable composition such as a vinyl plastisol that is capable of forming a heat-sealable layer upon radiation curing, irradiating the overcoat to cure it, and heating the laminate to fuse the overcoat layer.
