摘要： There is provided a reference leak generating device capable of precisely generating an ultra-fine reference leak. The reference leak generating device adapted to be connected to an upstream side of a measurement chamber includes a chamber connected to the measurement chamber through an orifice or a porous plug having a molecular flow conductance C and a pressure to establish molecular flow conditions which are known in advance, and is characterized in that a pressure p1 of testing gas to be introduced into the chamber is precisely determined by using a static expansion method once or more times, and a leak rate of a reference leak at the pressure p1 is obtained in accordance with a product of C and p1.

The valve comprises a fast-switching 3/2-way valve including a movable valve member having first and second positions. In the first position the movable valve member allows communication through the valve solely between the outlet of the leak simulator and an input of the detector and in the second position allows communication through the valve solely between the outlet of the leak simulator and the atmosphere.

摘要： A method and apparatus are disclosed for automatically compensating for the effects of variations in ambient trace gas levels or other causes of drift in trace gas leak detection testing, by generating a stored reference signal corresponding to the trace gas sensor output signal, freezing the reference signal at the beginning of each test and summing the output signal with the frozen reference signal to create a compensated output signal which is then compared with a preset threshold signal to trigger a reject during a given test. The uncompensated output signal is also continuously compared with a preset signal value and the test disabled if the output signal exceeds the preset signal at the beginning of each test.
