摘要： The cartridge case preparation rotor device trims cartridge cases to overall length correctly and further prepares them for reloading. The rotor holds multiple case preparation tools so that the user may conveniently and precisely apply them more squarely to a turning cartridge case. The rotor slides and turns on a rod mounted opposite a variable speed motor fitted with a chuck turning a case holder. Flexibility of the rod and oscillation of the rotor permit each tool to follow case eccentricity. An enlarged grip on the case holder simplifies installation and removal of cases. A neck cleaning tool cleans the inside and outside of the case neck simultaneously. The rotor may be slid along and turned upon the rod manually, or the motor and rotor can be mounted on a progressive press. The pushbutton control switch can be pressed by hand, or set on the floor as a foot switch.

The bullet comparator of the present invention consists of a fixture block having a V-shaped groove running along a long axis of the block and a dial indicator coupled to one end of the fixture, configured so its probe operably moves toward the center of the fixture. A stop block adjustably positions in the V-shaped grove of the fixture. And, at least one floating chamber selectively positions in the V-shaped grove of the fixture. The floating chamber is a cylindrical body defining an interior chamber; the interior chamber has a first ring-contact and at least a second ring-contact on an interior portion of the chamber.

The case trimmer assembly includes an end mill for cutting excess material from the case. The end mill is fixed to a micrometer dial threadedly engaging a barrel. The micrometer dial is rotated to adjust the position of the end mill with respect to the case adapter bearing to precisely adjust the amount of material cut from the case. The case adapter bearing is easily changed to trim different cases.

摘要： A tool for use in conjunction with a firearm to facilitate the performance of various functions with regard to the firearm. The tool includes a cartridge case simulator which is mounted at a distal end of a tubular rod. The end of the simulator opposite an end at which a bullet is to be positioned for subsequent identification of a desired location relative to an intended corresponding cartridge case is provided with an aperture, and an axial passage in the simulator, thereby, communicates with an axial duct in the tubular rod, the rod and simulator being axially aligned. A gauge shaft is disposed for reciprocal movement along the axial aligned passage and duct. A distal end of the shaft is intended to engage the base of a bullet so that the bullet can be urged to a desired axial position relative to a mouth of the cartridge case simulator. The invention provides means for locking the shaft against relative axial movement with respect to the tubular rod when the desired axial location of the bullet is achieved.
