摘要： Provided is a target launching machine having a circular section portion. The machine includes a launching arm rotatable about an axis of rotation and a bearing surface that accommodates a circular section portion of the target and includes an offset portion that is configured so that a spacing between a trajectory of the launching arm and the offset portion increases in a direction of rotation of the launching arm. The offset portion includes a portion having a circular profile about a portion axis that is offset relative to the axis of rotation and parallel to the axis of rotation. The offset between the portion axis and the axis of rotation has a non-zero component in a primary direction defined in a vertical plane, with the non-zero component positioned relative to the axis of rotation opposite the portion.

摘要： A target-throwing apparatus comprises a frame, a turret mounted for rotational movement on the frame, a swinging throwing arm carried by a support tiltably mounted on the turret, an energystoring spring to swing the throwing arm, and mechanical connections which adjust the azimuth of the turret, the inclination of the tiltable support and the tension of the spring. A motor activates the connection which adjusts the tension of the spring, and a control device activates the motor so that the tension of the spring can be adjusted while the apparatus is in operation.

摘要： A two-piece target pigeon composed of (a) a ring with propeller wings extending radially and which are tilted in propeller fashion so that when spun about the centerline axis of the ring by a launching apparatus, the ring will displace itself axially through the air; and (b) a detachable target piece which is carried by the propellered ring in flight. Structure on the target pieces mutually intercooperate to hold the ring and target piece together in flight and to release the target when hit in flight by pellets. The structure includes legs with footed distal ends which disengage from the ring upon impact, so that the target will fall to earth simulating a "dead bird" while the propellered hub will continue in flight.

It provides a motorized cam and switch assembly which defines an attachment unit integrated to exert an overriding influence on the launching system controls.
