    • A self-compensating weapon sight includes a housing, partially reflective optics, through which a user may observe a target and receive visually displayed information simultaneously, a light source, for visualization of an aiming point to the user via the partially reflective optics, means for receiving a measure of the distance to the target a processor, for determining the adequate position of the aiming point, based on the distance to the target, and for controlling the light source to emit light so that the aiming point is visualized at the adequate position, wherein the light source is an array capable of selectively emitting light in well defined locations on its surface.

    • A scope assembly for use with, a projectile firing device including an erect image telescope mounted upon the device. The telescope includes a housing with a series of spaced apart lenses, a reticle display field being disposed along an optical path established within the telescope and which is viewable by a user. A laser range-finding scope is housed within a component in parallel disposed fashion relative to the erect image telescope, the range-finding scope incorporating a microprocessor and timer in operative communication with a pulse generator and an infrared projector. The distance to the target is measured by the laser, pulse detector, and timer. The data is transmitted to the microprocessor which determines the vertical position required to hit the target. The compensated target aimpoint is then illuminated in the reticle display field as a horizontal line.

    • The invention relates to a telescopic sight with an objective to face a target object to be observed in a working position, an eyepiece to face an observer, a visual observation beam path, an inner tube with an inversion system, means for adjusting the direction of the sight line of the telescopic sight, a rangefinder and with a scope housing, in which are integrated the rangefinder, which has a transmitter for emitting a measurement beam and a receiver for receiving the reflected measurement beam, and arranged in the region of the observation beam path a beam splitter element, which couples the emitted measurement beam into the part of the observation beam path extending toward the objective and/or decouples the received reflected measurement beam from the part of the observation beam path extending toward the objective. The transmitter of the rangefinder, the receiver of the rangefinder and the beam splitter element are fixed in an immovable fashion with respect to each other and to the inner tube of the telescopic sight such that they are also movable by the means of the telescopic sight for adjusting the direction of the sight line.
