    • Disclosed are integral and/or portable, easy-to-install apparatuses for detecting and containing fluid leaked or otherwise discharged from a fluid-filled device and for facilitating testing and maintenance of the apparatus and fluid-filled devices. In one aspect of the disclosed invention, upon sensing a fluid discharge, the apparatus activates audible and/or visual alarms and directs the discharged fluid to a predetermined drainage area to prevent damage to areas surrounding the fluid-filled device. In another aspect of the present invention, no plumbing or electrical wiring is required to install the apparatus, thereby allowing an unskilled individual to easily and inexpensively install the apparatus. In yet another aspect of the present invention, the apparatus may be easily located since it is not dependent on gravity or a drainage pipe for discharge of the fluid. Furthermore, the apparatus optionally includes an integral leveling mechanism to accommodate leveling of the apparatus when placed on uneven surfaces.

    • A generally mushroom-shaped vibration isolator having a broad cap and a smaller diameter stem that is used for safety enhancement between a heavy furnace, air conditioning unit, storage hot water heater tank, or other fluid-producing unit, and a fluid-collecting pan positioned under it. Vibration isolator stems are placed within indentations in raised areas of the pan and comprise highly impact-resistant materials, temperature-resistant materials, provide enhanced air movement and heat deflection around a furnace/unit/tank, reduce after-installation furnace/unit/tank movement, and meet furnace non-combustible clearance requirements. The cap has a broad underside surface, top surface radially-extending ribs and cutouts, and may have a slightly convex top, while the stem has at least one outwardly-depending wedge-shaped projection that is sufficiently flared-out to flip over as it is inserted into an indentation for a tight fit within several sizes of indentation, as well as removal resistance. A tapered connection also exists between cap and stem.

    • A heat exchange apparatus of a high-load bottom-up-type condensing gas boiler is disclosed. In the gas boiler system having a ventilator attached to a lower part of a combustion chamber, the heat exchange apparatus structured in such a manner that a Venturi path for achieving a high-pressure and high-velocity flow of exhaust gas is mounted in an exhaust duct formed between a sensible heat exchanger in which first heat exchange is performed and a latent heat exchanger to which firstly heat-exchanged exhaust gas is flown, so that the sensible heat exchanger and the latent heat exchanger are perfectly independent from the exhaust gas after combustion. In addition, a curve-type exhaust guide and a V-guide are mounted to an upper part of the latent heat exchanger to guide a flow of the exhaust gas being firstly heat-exchanged and discharged from the sensible heat exchanger, such that condensed water generated during second heat exchange in the latent heat exchanger can be smoothly discharged and the thermal efficiency is enhanced.

    • In various embodiments, a leak diversion device may be coupled to a device, such as, but not limited to, a domestic or industrial device, for diverting a fluid that is released from the device. In some embodiments, a surface in the leak diversion device may be angled for diverting the diverted fluid to a predetermined location exterior to the device where a user may see the fluid. A hose may also be used to divert the fluid out of the leak diversion device. In some embodiments, the leak diversion device may have a permeable surface and/or enforced sides to provide level support for the device while allowing fluid released from the device to drop onto a slanted surface to be directed away from the device. In some embodiments, dye tabs may be used in the leak diversion device to add color to the fluid to make the fluid more visible.
