摘要： An indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus and an air-conditioning apparatus that include levers of a decorative panel operated through insertion hole portions, and then move vertically in the insertion hole portions by the gravity, to thereby be temporarily hung on the hooks. The levers are kept holed on hooks. The indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a casing, a decorative panel mounted on a lower surface side of the casing and having an air inlet formed therein, the levers mounted so as to be opposed to each other on opposed two sides among four sides forming edges of the air inlet of the decorative panel, and the hooks mounted at an opening portion of the casing, to allow the levers to be hooked thereon, respectively.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a ceiling-embedded air conditioner includes a main body incorporating a heat exchanger, a decorative panel attached to a lower edge of the main body and including a discharge port discharging air heat-exchanged in the heat exchanger to a room, and a drain pan including a thermal insulating member and a synthetic resin member coating the thermal insulating member. The drain pan includes a recess for receiving drain water produced in the heat exchanger, a communication port provided on a periphery of the recess and communicating with the discharge port of the decorative panel, and a wall standing between the periphery of the recess and the communication port. The wall is composed of the synthetic resin member.

The drain pan includes a positioning fitting having: a casing-fixing threaded hole for allowing the drain pan to be fixed to the casing with a screw; and a bellmouth-fixing threaded hole for allowing the bellmouth to be fixed to the drain pan with a screw.

摘要： A refrigeration system includes a supplemental heat exchanger operably disposed between a condenser and an evaporator. This supplemental heat exchanger is located in selective fluid communication with the air in the conditioned space, and can be toggled between an “invisible” mode in which the heat exchanger acts as a simple fluid conduit between the condenser and evaporator, and a “humidity reduction” mode in which the heat exchanger operates to transfer heat from hot refrigerant to the colder conditioned space. This addition of heat into the conditioned space decreases the relative humidity of the conditioned space and subcools the refrigerant leading to the expansion valve and evaporator. This subcooling of the liquid enables the evaporator to operate at a lower temperature which enhances the moisture removal from the air moving through the evaporator. The supplemental heat exchanger may be located in a physically elevated position relative to the remainder of the conditioned space to utilize stratification of hot air to create a default “invisible mode” without inducing airflow.

The rear wall includes an indoor facing surface and an opposing outdoor facing surface. The bulkhead assembly further includes a vent aperture defined in the rear wall, and a vent unit. The vent unit includes a frame, a door, and a hinge rotatably connecting the door to the frame. The frame is positioned on one of the indoor facing surface or the outdoor facing surface and defines a frame aperture generally aligned with the vent aperture. The door is rotatable between an open position and a closed position.

The swing pattern storage area stores a plurality of swing patterns that include information pertaining to the swing action. The control command generator generates a control command of the air conditioning apparatus on the basis of a swing pattern corresponding to the mode determined by the operation mode determining section from among the plurality of swing patterns.

An extension that extends to an open end of the outer plate may be formed at a side surface of the inner case corresponding to the panel outlet port, and a recess, which may be recessed in a shape corresponding to the panel outlet port, may be formed at an outer end of the drain pan assembly. Both ends of the extension may be in contact with an inner side surface of the recess, and form an outlet port which is in communication with the panel outlet port.
