    • The present invention relates to a gas combustor, which comprises a housing in which a base seat is installed, an engagement pipe at the front of the base seat is connected to a flame device exposed at the front of the housing, wherein the rear portion of the base seat is pivoted with a swing sheet, the inner surface thereof is adjacent to a gas intake control valve fastened in the base seat, and a convey pipe is connected between the gas intake control valve and a pivotal connection device installed at the rear of the housing; and a safety mechanism, installed at the bottom of the housing and including a latch button, a connection rod and a control button; through pressing the latch button, one end of the connection rod is raised, the latch end at the other end of the connection rod is inwardly retracted for releasing the locking state of the control button, so the control button is enabled to be pressed, and the extrusion part extrudes the swing sheet, and the gas intake control valve is formed to an opening state, so the fuel is able to pass through the interior of the base seat for being ejected by the flame device.

    • A heater including a heat dump opening and a heat dump cover moveable between an open and a closed position to selectively block flow of fluid through the heat dump opening. The heat dump opening is formed in the top of the housing, and the heat dump cover is biased toward the open position. The cover moves to an open position in response to a sensed preselected limit temperature to vent excessively heated air to ambient to prevent damage to the heater and a duct system and a building to which the heater may be connected. Air escaping the heater via the heat dump opening may cause replacement air to be drawn into the heater to cool the heater, including electrical components of the heater located near an inlet and an outlet of the heater.

    • The invention is with respect to a fail-safe system for stopping damage to water boilers, whose thermostats are not in working order.In an automatic combustion control system of the sort having an elastic thermostat bellows element placed within an outer shell within the water space of a boiler and joined by a chain or the like with the air door for controlling the air inlet rate at some point in the connection between the thermostat element and the door, there is a temperature-sensitive part, for example in the form of a plug of fusible metal or collapsing material, or in the form of a soldered join using a special fusible solder.In one form of the invention, this temperature-sensitive part may take the form of a ring of temperature-sensitive material placed at one end of a spring which is forced together on the temperature increasing. On damage to the thermostat element, the one end of the spring will no longer be supported so that the spring will no longer take effect and so let the air door be moved down under its own weight into the shut position.In a further form of the invention, a body of temperature-sensitive material is placed between a rod, acting on one end of the thermostat element and a turning head which is used for making adjustment in the desired temperature.In a further form of the invention, the temperature-sensitive part takes the form of a plug of temperature-sensitive material between the end of a gripping screw in a jointpiece and a turning rod acted upon by said screw.In a still further form of the invention, the temperature-sensitive part takes the form of a bimetallic wing, which is unhooked from a jointpiece on being heated to a limit temperature. As part of a still further form of the invention, a guide roller for a chain joining the thermostat with the air door is fixed to the side of the boiler by way of fusible solder, this taking the form of the temperature-sensitive part.

The flow control device includes a damper which is positioned in response to a heating air condition such as flow or temperature to divert heating air from the distribution system into the by-pass to avoid excessive air temperatures in the distribution system.
