摘要： The invention addresses the task of providing a gas filling system and a vehicle that are able to simply detect, at a vehicle side, whether there is a drift in a temperature sensor that measures a temperature in a tank of the vehicle. The gas filling system and the vehicle include: a vehicle that includes single or multiple tanks that are able to contain high-pressure gas and a first communication instrument; and a gas station that includes a second communication instrument that receives a signal from the first communication instrument and that feeds gas to the single or multiple tanks. The vehicle includes: a first temperature sensor that acquires temperature information of the gas stored in the single tank; a second temperature sensor that acquires temperature information outside the single tank 22; and a controller. The controller permits transmission of the temperature information of the first temperature sensor to the second communication instrument on the condition that the absolute value of a difference between an indicated value of the first temperature sensor and an indicated value of the second temperature sensor is smaller than or equal to a predetermined value, and prohibits transmission of the temperature information of the first temperature sensor to the second communication instrument on the condition that the absolute value of the difference is larger than the predetermined value.

摘要： An inflatable structure may be formed from a single piece of flexible film. The inflatable structure may include quilting seals which divide the inflatable chamber. The inflatable structure may include a one-way valve including an internal valve opening, a channel, and an external valve opening. A locator aperture positioned in the channel may be surrounded by a valve position-retention seal. A corresponding inflation device fills the inflatable structure with air and may do so without requiring heat sealing or insertion into the one-way valve. The inflation device may include a mechanical registration device configured to engage the locator aperture and position the one-way valve at a desired position with respect to an outlet of a source of pressurized air. The inflation device may detect when the inflatable structure is filled with a desired amount of air and automatically shut off the source of pressurized air.

摘要： The present invention provides a fuel filling system and a fuel filling method thereof that can determine the validity of information transmitted from a vehicle side while filling fuel with high accuracy. A hydrogen gas filling method of a hydrogen filling system includes: a step of filling hydrogen gas from a hydrogen station to a hydrogen tank under a predetermined filling control law (S2); and a determination step of determining whether a measurement error parameter corresponding to a difference between a filling amount of hydrogen gas calculated using information transmitted from the vehicle side and a filling amount of hydrogen gas calculated using a mass flow meter is within a predetermined permissible range (S9). In the filling step, the filling control law is changed after starting the filling of hydrogen gas, according to a determination result obtained in the determination step (S13 and S16).

摘要： A remaining gas amount calculating device includes a hydrogen tank, an opening/closing valve arranged to deliver hydrogen gas from inside the hydrogen tank, a decompression valve arranged to decompress hydrogen gas delivered from the hydrogen tank, a pressure sensor arranged to measure the pressure of hydrogen gas decompressed with the decompression valve, and a power source system controller arranged to determine the remaining gas amount in the hydrogen tank by calculating the gas pressure in the hydrogen tank based on the hydrogen gas pressure measured with the pressure sensor. The relationship between pressures in a primary chamber and a secondary chamber of the decompression valve is monotonical such that when the pressure in the primary chamber increases, the pressure in the secondary chamber also increases; and when the pressure in the primary chamber decreases, the pressure in the secondary chamber also decreases. The remaining gas amount calculating device makes it possible to calculate the amount of gas remaining in a gas container without using a gas pressure measuring device that measures directly the pressure in the gas container.

摘要： Fuel storage and delivery systems are provided for storing pressurized liquefied natural gas (PLNG) fuel at a pressure of about 1035 kPa (150 psia) to about 7590 kPa (1100 psia) and at a temperature of about -123.degree. C. (-190.degree. F.) to about -62.degree. C. (-80.degree. F.) and delivering vaporized PLNG fuel on demand for combustion in an engine. The fuel storage and delivery systems have fuel storage containers that are constructed from ultra-high strength, low alloy steel containing less than 9 wt % nickel and having a tensile strength greater than 830 MPa (120 ksi) and a DBTT lower than about -73.degree. C. (-100.degree. F.). While not limited thereto, the present invention is especially useful for automobiles, buses, trucks and other vehicles with engines designed to operate through combustion of natural gas.
