    • A connection device may include an insertion section having an annular outer groove. A housing may be configured to receive the insertion section and a blocking element may be configured to lock the insertion section in the housing. The blocking element may have a band-shaped core and a plurality of teeth arranged adjacent in the peripheral direction along the core. Each of the teeth may include an outer tooth section and an inner tooth section. A core profile may have a core principal direction determined by a maximum diameter. The teeth may have a tooth profile which has a tooth principal direction determined by an inner flank of the teeth lying radially on an interior of the outer tooth section and the core principal direction may be inclined with respect to the tooth principal direction.

    • An annular sealing material seals a pipe joint between a socket and a spigot. The sealing material includes a bulb part which is composed of a first bulb, a second bulb located closer to the inner side of the socket than the first bulb, and a narrow part present between the first and second bulbs. The first bulb is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the socket. The second bulb is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the spigot. The second bulb is inclined towards the pipe center from the first bulb in a natural state before it is provided between the socket and the spigot. The inner diameter of the second bulb is smaller than the outer diameter of the spigot in the natural state. The second bulb is extensible in the pipe diameter direction due to elastic deformation of the narrow part.

    • A female coupling member releasably interconnectable with a male coupling member to form a fluid coupling is disclosed. The male coupling member has an inlet end, and an outlet end connectable to a fluid flow line. The female coupling member includes a tubular coupling body having an inlet end for axially receiving the inlet end of the male coupling member, and an outlet end connectable to a fluid flow line. The female coupling member also includes a locking element operable between a release position where the locking element is remote from the male coupling member when received within the female coupling member. A release member moves the locking element between the release position and the locking position. The female coupling member has a fastening element which is releasably securable to the release member preventing the release member unintentionally moving to the displacement position when secured to the release member.

A male coupling (2) forms a second locking face, arranged around the longitudinal axis. A holding element (9) has a ring (10) with several spring elements projecting from the ring (10). The spring elements (11) extend parallel to the longitudinal axis (4). Locking elements (12) are formed on the free ends of the spring elements (11). The spring elements (11) are, respectively, elastically deformable against a spring force radially out of a locking position into a releasing position. In the inserted condition of the male coupling (2), the first locking face (15) and the second locking (16) face one another. Also, the locking elements (12) are supported in the locking position of the spring elements (11) on the first locking face (15) and on the second locking face (16).

    • A quick connect/disconnect coupling for hydraulic or pneumatic conduits has a male half (4) and a female half (2) each of said halves having fluid bores therethrough. Split ring segments 7 are arranged in ring within the female coupling half and are movable therein. The ring segments are biased towards the centerline of the coupling by an elastic o-ring (9). When the coupling halves are engaged, the ring segments are positioned between a radially extending shoulder (6) on the male coupling half and a radially extending shoulder (21) on the female coupling half. In the engaged and locked position of the coupling halves, the ring segments in blocking relation with the shoulders holds the coupling halves together. The ring segments are in abutting relation with adjacent ring segments on either side when the coupling halves are in the engaged in locked position. The male coupling half includes a tubular releasing member (10) slidably mounted thereon. When the releasing member is moved in the direction of the female coupling half a tapered surface (18) of the releasing member moves the ring segments radially outward above the shoulder on the male coupling half and enables the coupling halves to be disconnected.

    • A quick-connect fitting assembly is disclosed for releasably connecting a pair of fluid conduits in fluid communication with one another. A socket portion on one of the fluid conduits is adapted for receiving the other fluid conduit inserted longitudinally into the socket portion. A laterally-extending protuberance on the inserted fluid conduit is longitudinally restrained by a retaining assembly generally adjacent the fluid socket, with the retaining assembly including one or more resilient spring of barb members longitudinally interlocked with the inserted fluid conduit. A pair of collar members are longitudinally interconnectable with one another, either by a threaded engagement or by a "bayonet-type" engagement, to releasably restrain the assembly in a connected condition. Such collar members can be provided with a feature by which complete disconnection of the fluid conduits is substantially prevented until any internal fluid pressure is relieved, at which time the fluid conduits can be completely separated.
