摘要： A safety valve replaces a tire valve. The valve includes a generally elongate hollow main body having an upper portion, a lower flex hose connector, a side tubular branch having a valve seat with a ball valve, an electronics housing having a battery, motor and a drive pin for the ball valve. The lower flex hose connector is adapted for connection to a flex hose or valve stem of the vehicle tire. The side branch branches from the main body and communicates with the hollow interior of the main body. The side branch has a plurality of air exit apertures at its periphery. The valve seat includes a base with an aperture therein through which the drive pin can extend through to engage the ball valve. The ball valve sits in the base and is biased in the valve seat via a spring to cover the aperture.

In a first inflation configuration, the first member is configured to form a magnetic connection with the sealing member and contact the plunger member to overcome the biasing force, the plunger member is configured to responsively slide relative to the first inflation aperture to facilitate a flow of air between the sealing member and the plunger member.

摘要： A valve assembly for a tire pressure management system includes a housing having a first perforation and a second perforation. The first perforation is selectively in fluid communication with the second perforation. A shuttle assembly is provided in the housing. A failsafe piston is connected to the shuttle assembly. A first biasing member applies a bias to the failsafe piston. A second biasing member applies a bias to the shuttle assembly. When a pressure differential between a pressure in the second perforation and a pressure in the first perforation is at or below a predetermined value, the bias applied by the first biasing member urges the failsafe piston toward the shuttle assembly to prevent fluid communication between the first perforation and the second perforation.

摘要： The present invention is a valve for use in a central tire inflation system including a casing securable to the rim of a vehicle in communication with the tire that houses a main body connectable to a pressurized fluid supply of the central tire inflation system, and a valve member moveable within the main body to control the flow of air through the valve.
