    • A hydraulic pressure supply system of an automatic transmission may include a low-pressure oil pump generating low hydraulic pressure while being driven by an engine to exhaust the low hydraulic pressure to a first low-pressure channel, a high-pressure oil pump raising a portion of the hydraulic pressure in the first low-pressure channel to a high pressure while being driven by an electric motor to exhaust the hydraulic pressure to a first high-pressure channel, a low-pressure regulator valve controlling the hydraulic pressure while exhausting a portion of the hydraulic pressure to supply the controlled hydraulic pressure to a low-pressure part through a second low-pressure channel, and a high-pressure regulator valve controlling the hydraulic pressure while re-circulating a portion of the hydraulic pressure to the low-pressure part through single or two re-circulation channels according to the pressure to supply the controlled hydraulic pressure to a high-pressure part through the second high-pressure channel.

    • A valve group (1) is disclosed comprising an inlet module (5) and at least one service module (2-4) connected to said inlet module (5), said inlet module(5) having a housing (19), a pressure port (PP), a pressure gallery (PG), a tank port (TP), a tank gallery (TG), a spool (20) movable in said housing (19) to interrupt in a first position (A) a connection between said pressure port (PP) and said pressure gallery (PG) and to connect in a second position (B) said pressure port (PP) and said pressure gallery (PG). The inlet module should have a simple construction. To this end said spool (20) in said first position (A) connects said pressure gallery (PG) and said tank gallery (TG), wherein a first pressure transducer (16) is provided to detect a first pressure in said pressure gallery (PG) and a second pressure transducer (17) is provided to detect a second pressure in said tank gallery (TG), said first pressure transducer (16) and said second pressure transducer (17) being connected to control means (18) determining the position of said spool (20) to be said first position (A) when said first transducer (16) and said second transducer (17) read a same pressure below a predetermined first threshold pressure and to be said second position (B) when said first pressure transducer (16) reads a higher pressure than said second pressure transducer (17).

    • This invention concerns a slider valve in which a sliding block (10) of generally square cross-section (the corners of which are rounded) is a close sliding fit in a circular bore (14) in a body member (16). At right angles to the axis of the bore (14) and communicating therewith are ports (18) each of which is similar. Each port includes a smaller diameter section in which is located a cylindrical pad (22) of a plastics material having a fluid passage (24) formed therethrough to allow fluid from a tube (26) encased within a metal sheath (28) to pass into a port (30 or 32) in the block (10) if the latter is registering therewith. Two or more such valves can be joined by axially aligning and securing together the cylindrical body member 16 and the end of one block (10) will act on the end of an adjoining block (10) in an adjoining valve.The movement of the block or blocks axially relative to the body member (16) is effected by means of an actuator (52, 54) at one end of the body member (16) and a similar actuator or spring is provided at the opposite end to return the block (10) to its original position.The two extreme positions allow the bores (30, 32) in the block (10) to be aligned with selected ones of the ports (18).Pre-alignment and setting up of each valve or of a plurality of valves arranged in series, can be easily effected by adjusting the relative positions of the bodies (16) and locking the adjusted positions.
