摘要： The present disclosure describes a powertrain and an all-terrain vehicle. The powertrain includes an engine, a continuously variable transmission and a transmission. The continuously variable transmission is drivingly coupled to the engine. The transmission includes a casing, a power input shaft, a first power output shaft and a second power output shaft. The power input shaft, the first power output shaft and the second power output shaft are all provided in the casing. The power input shaft is drivingly coupled to the continuously variable transmission, the power input shaft is drivingly coupled to the first power output shaft and the second power output shaft separately in the casing, and an axis of the power input shaft is parallel to an axis of the first power output shaft and perpendicular to an axis of the second power output shaft.

The input shaft is rotationally fixable via a second shift element to a second element of a second planetary gear set, which is fixable to the rotationally fixed component via a first shift element, and is rotationally fixed to a first element of a third planetary gear set. A second element of the first planetary gear set is fixed to the rotationally fixed component. A first element of the second planetary gear set is rotationally fixed to a third element of the third planetary gear set. A third element of the first planetary gear set is rotationally fixed to a third element of the second planetary gear set.

Power is transmitted in a smoother and more efficient manner by splitting torque into two or more torque paths. A continuously variable transmission is provided with a ball variator assembly having an array of balls, a planetary gearset coupled thereto and an arrangement of rotatable shafts with multiple gears and clutches that extend the ratio range of the variator. In some embodiments, clutches are coupled to the gear sets to enable synchronous shifting of gear modes.

The various components of the planetary gear set and the variator are arranged such that torque is split between two or more torque paths and then recombined before power is output to a gear box and a differential of the motor vehicle.

In other embodiments, an electric traction drive is provided with an electromotive device that couples to certain components of a CVT such as a traction ring, a carrier assembly, and a main axle. Various inventive shifting assemblies having shift cams and shift cam cages can be used to facilitate adjusting the transmission speed ratio of a CVT. Various related devices include embodiments of, for example, a power input apparatus, a speed ratio shifter, a shift cam actuator, a shift nut, and a carrier assembly configured to support the tilting traction planets.
