    • An object of the present invention is to provide a saddle-type vehicle which can switch between the parking brake state and the neutral state using a clutch actuator configured to operate the clutch and thus lower the manufacturing cost. According to the present disclosure, there is provided a saddle-type vehicle which can be driven by a driver sitting on a seat and steering a bar handle. The saddle-type vehicle can comprise a clutch arranged on a power transmitting path from a driving source to a wheel (or wheels) configured to selectively transmit a driving power of the driving source to the wheel and selectively cut off the transmission of driving power of the driving source; a transmission arranged on the power transmitting path configured to shift gears in accordance with the travelling state of the vehicle; and a clutch actuator comprising an electrically operated actuator configured to actuate the clutch, wherein the clutch can be switched by the clutch actuator between a parking brake state, in which the power transmission between the driving source and the driving wheel is performed under a stopped state of the driving source, and a neutral state, in which the power transmission between the driving source and the driving wheel is cut off.

    • Disclosed herein is a method for controlling slip of a continuously variable transmission using a transmission control unit (TCU), comprising: receiving, by a transmission control unit, information related to determination of slip which occurs during vehicle's running; calculating a slip determining coefficient by the transmission control unit; determining, by the transmission control unit, whether the slip has occurred according to the slip determining information and a predefined slip determining algorithm; and selecting and switching to, by the transmission control unit, one of a plurality of preset slip modes based on the slip determining coefficient and a result obtained by determining whether the slip has occurred.

    • A control device for a belt-type continuously variable transmission CVT includes an engine 1, a belt-type continuously-variable transmitting mechanism 4; a forward/reverse switching mechanism 3 including a forward clutch 31 and a reverse brake 32; and a hydraulic control circuit 71 configured to control a pulley hydraulic pressure and engagement-element pressures for the forward clutch 31 and the reverse brake 32. The control device includes a selection control means for outputting a pulley hydraulic command to obtain an idle-time clamping pressure which is higher than an idle-time minimum pressure (idle-time MIN-pressure) calculated from an input torque, to the hydraulic control circuit 71, when the engine 1 is in operation during a selection of N-range. A position of an element clearance generated in the belt can be maintained even if drag torque is inputted.
