    • A bearing arrangement having a bearing mounted in a housing, wherein a grease lubricant is present within the housing for lubricating the bearing, a support frame at least partly made of an electrically insulating material, arranged in a space within the housing that lies axially between the bearing and a housing seal. The support frame includes at least one electrode pair having first and second electrodes arranged to enable grease lubricant to contact therewith. A capacitance meter provided for measuring a capacitance between the first and second electrodes. The support frame provides a radially oriented surface and a plurality of ribs that extend in a radially inward direction, the ribs having sufficient circumferential spacing to enable grease to flow between adjacent ribs. One of the first and second electrodes is provided on the radially oriented surface of the support frame or on a rib surface that faces an adjacent rib.

    • A bearing device includes: an outer ring having an outer ring raceway groove on its inner circumferential surface; an inner ring having an inner ring raceway groove on its outer circumferential surface; balls arranged between the outer and inner ring raceway grooves; a retainer retaining the balls; and a liquid lubricant supply device supplying oil content of grease to the space between the inner circumferential surface of the outer ring and the outer circumferential surface of the inner ring. The liquid lubricant supply device includes a liquid lubricant passage providing fluid communication between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface; and a vibrating device contacting the grease to vibrate the grease to supply a liquid lubricant to the space between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface via the liquid lubricant passage.

    • To provide a marine drive shaft-bearing structure capable of simply filling grease without an effort and at a reduced cost. A marine drive shaft-bearing structure includes a bearing body disposed between an engine and an impeller for propulsion. Front and rear bearing members are received in a bearing chamber within the bearing body so as to rotatably support a drive shaft which connects the engine with the impeller. A grease filling portion is adapted to fill grease into the bearing chamber. The grease filling portion includes a grease filling port formed in the bearing body so as to communicate with the bearing chamber and a grease tank for storing the grease and for being detachably attached to the grease filling port.
