摘要： A progressive cavity pump system on a well includes a holdback apparatus. The holdback apparatus has a housing and a one-way bearing in the housing. The housing attaches to the drive head on the well. The one-way bearing allows the motor to drive the pump. The one-way bearing prevents reverse rotation, preventing the sucker rod from unwinding and fluid above the pump from draining, when the pump loses power.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a wave energy gathering and enhancing device disposed in a setting area of the sea-bed. A seawater wave approaches the wave energy gathering and enhancing device with a wave vector. The wave energy gathering and enhancing device comprises a plurality of structures. The plurality of structures are arranged below the sea surface in a two-dimensional symmetric discrete group. Each of the structures has a top surface and the top surface is located below the sea surface with a predetermined depth. A lattice with a definte lattice constant is formed by the plurality of structures. The lattice plane formed by the structures and the wave vector of the seawater wave form an angle. The structures enhance the amplitude of the seawater wave when the seawater wave interacts with and passes through the structures.

A plurality of shutter assemblies are disposed in a circular orientation around each of said turbine assembly and are independently operable for causing wind current to be directed thereby for rotating said turbine assemblies. Five wall elements extend outwardly tangential to the periphery defined by the shutter assemblies and intercept the wind current and direct the wind currents toward the shutter assemblies. A roof covers the power plant and thereby increases the overall efficiency.

摘要： A stator for a helical gear device includes a first section having first helically convoluted chamber with a set of radially inwardly extending lobes and a second section adjacent to the first section. The second section includes a stack of cutter disks. Each cutter disk includes a front surface, a rear surface, an interior surface defining a central opening extending from the front surface to the rear surface, a forward cutting edge, and a rearward cutting edge. The interior surface forms a same number of lobes for the central opening as the set of radially inwardly extending lobes in the first section. Each cutter disk is aligned along a common centerline, and each cutter disk is rotated slightly relative to each other to form a second helically convoluted chamber with a same pitch as the first helically convoluted chamber. The second helically convoluted chamber exposes, to materials passing through, portions of the forward cutting edge or the rearward cutting edge of each cutter disk.

摘要： A welding method and apparatus for welding workpieces together by conducting a laser beam welding process on a joint region that includes a weld seam defined by and between faying surfaces of the workpieces, and then conducting a hybrid laser arc welding process on the joint region. The laser beam welding process entails causing a first laser beam to travel along the joint region, penetrate the weld seam and form a weldment. The hybrid laser arc welding process remelts the weldment by simultaneously causing an electric arc and a second laser beam to overlap and travel along the joint region and form a weld pool in the weldment. On cooling, a weld joint is formed within the joint region and its weld seam.

摘要： A fluid driven turbine apparatus includes a hollow body and rib plates annularly disposed in the hollow body. A vane module is disposed in the hollow body and co-axially connected to a shaft extending axially through the hollow body. The rib plates surround the vane module and are spaced apart from the vane module by an annular gap. The annular gap has a width gradually enlarged in a top-to-bottom direction. When fluid flows into the vane module and is diverted sideward to the annular gap, large sand grains carried by fluid may pass through an enlarged lower portion of the annular gap without getting stuck therein and abrading the rib plates and the vane module.
