摘要： A wiper plug can be used in wellbore operations. The wiper plug can include a fishing neck located at a rear portion of the plug. The fishing neck can be a male or female fishing neck. A corresponding male or female fishing tool can be used to retrieve the wiper plug from a tubing string. The wiper plug can include a nose that can land on a landing tool or a female fishing neck of another wiper plug. The wiper plug can be introduced into the tubing string before or after a cement composition. The wiper plug can include a rupture disk that allows an operator at a wellhead to observe a pressure change to indicate the location of the wiper plug and fluid within the tubing string.

摘要： Systems and methods for cutting objects within a subterranean well include a laser system having a laser drilling head located at a terminal downhole end of a laser tool body directing a head laser beam in a direction downhole. A laser scanner assembly located within the laser tool body has a scanner head directing a scanner laser beam and can move both axially along a length of the laser tool body and rotate around a central axis of the laser tool body. A laser cutter assembly located within the laser tool body has a cutter head directing a cutter laser beam and can rotate around the central axis of the laser tool body. A cable bundle formed of a plurality of fiber optic cables extends from an uphole end of the laser tool body to each of the laser drilling head, the laser scanner assembly, and the laser cutter assembly.

摘要： A releasable connector apparatus has a connector mandrel to be coupled to a conveyance and a housing to be coupled with a downhole tool. A socket is defined within the housing for receiving the mandrel. A latch arrangement operable within the socket has a latch member and is moveable relative to the housing between a connect position (in which the latch is locked relative to the mandrel to prevent removal of the mandrel from the socket), and a disconnect position (in which the latch is unlocked relative to the mandrel to permit removal of the mandrel from the socket). A cavity defined within the housing is sealingly isolated from the socket. An actuator mounted within the cavity is coupled to the latch arrangement to move relative to the housing between a first position (in which the arrangement is in its connect position), and a second position (in which the arrangement is in its disconnect position).

摘要： A method of downhole operations with a wireline deployed tool that has become stuck downhole. The wireline is selectively detached from the stuck tool, and a tubular is attached to a coupling provided with the tool. The tool is unstuck by applying upward and downward forces to the tool with the tubular. The coupling further provides communication between a line in the tubular and the downhole tool, thereby providing communication between the tool and surface. Thus, after unsticking the tool, wellbore operations can continue with the tool attached onto the tubular.

Setting tool (6) extends through a fishing neck (12), a catcher tube (14), a flanged section (16), a valve chamber (18), a closable opening (20) and a portion of a setting sleeve (22, 22′) of junk catcher (2, 2′). Valve chamber (18) comprises a valve (50) arranged to close closable opening (20) after retrieval of setting tool (6) from junk catcher (2, 2′). The junk catcher (2, 2′) is connected to bridge plug (4, 4′) by at least one shear bolt (27, 38). Bridge plug (4, 4′) comprises a plug fishing neck (32, 32′) facing junk catcher (2, 2′), and bridge plug (4, 4′) comprises an equalizing channel (71) in a mandrel (7). The equalizing channel (71) extends from a bull nose (41) of bridge plug (4, 4′), and where junk catcher (2, 2′) is provided with a closing sleeve (26, 26′), closing sleeve (26, 26′) is connected to bridge plug (4, 4′) by at least one shear bolt (38, 38′), and closing sleeve (26, 26′) seals at least one equalizing port (73) in mandrel (7) when bridge plug (4, 4′) is set. A method for operating bridge plug (4, 4′) and junk catcher (2, 2′) assembly is also described.
