摘要： Venetian blinds include a pair of slat lift and guide tapes (27, 28) that extend from the upper rail (12), downwardly through openings (22) in the elongated parallel slats (14) and into the lower rail (13) where they are collected in the lower rail on spools (48). The lift and guide tapes are concave in cross section when in their rectilinear shape and progressively change to flat in cross section as they are pulled into the lower rail and wrapped about tape collector spools.

摘要： A window shade comprises a head rail, a plurality of slats, a bottom part, suspension cords connected with cord winding units, and a control module. The control module includes first and second drive axles, a sleeve affixed with the first drive axle, a transmission part connected with the second drive axle, an arrester assembled around the first drive axle, and a release unit including an actuator. The first drive axle is operable to control vertical movement of a bottom part, and the second drive axle is operable to adjust an inclination of the slats. The arrester has a locking state in which it blocks a rotational displacement of the first drive axle to keep the bottom part at a desired position, and an unlocking state allowing rotation of the first drive axle so that the bottom part lowers by gravity action. The actuator has a lengthwise axis, and is operable to move along the lengthwise axis from a first position to a second position to turn the arrester from the locking state to the unlocking state, and the actuator when in the first position can drive the second drive axle in rotation.

摘要： A method for making a material structure which has at least one section of first material spaced apart from at least one section of second material. A number of thin, elongated strands connect the first material to the second material. The strands may adhere to the first and second material along a transverse edge of each material or may instead adhere to a side of the material sections at some distance from the edge. The resulting material structure may be incorporated into clothing or into window shade structures, for example. The method is performed by positioning an adhesive applicator such that adhesive can be dispensed to form strands which contact and bond the first material. The applicator is moved away from the first material so as to form an elongated strand between the first material and the applicator. The applicator is then moved such that the strand contacts the second material so that the strand connects the first material to the second material. These steps are then repeated while indexing the applicator such that any bonding point along the first material and the second material is adjacent to a previous bonding point.

摘要： A skew adjustment mechanism is used for adjusting the length of a lift cord on a window covering. The lift cord extends from a lift spool at a first end to an anchor drum at a second end. A cord wrap post is provided between the lift spool and the anchor drum so that the lift cord can be wrapped around the cord wrap post to provide friction between the lift cord and the cord wrap post when the lift cord is taut in order to reduce the amount of holding force that is needed to prevent the anchor drum from rotating.
