摘要： Exemplary embodiments include an electromechanical lock configuration for use in locking, particularly curtain type doors typically used to close garage spaces but also used for closure of industrial and commercial spaces for alternative purposes. Aspects of the electromechanical lock configuration may also find applications in locking of other closure doors or panel members whether they be of the curtain door type. The electromechanical lock configuration includes a latchable restraining mechanism that includes a latch bolt assembly having a linearly movable latch bolt movable between a withdrawn position and an extended active position that restrains the door or closure from moving from the closed position. The latch bolt assembly includes a selectively operable electrically activated latch drive for moving the latch bolt between a withdrawn position and an extended active position through a drive gear. A manual override is also included.

The roller shade may include: a roller; an axle located in the roller; an adjustable counterbalancing mechanism configured to counter balance a rotation of the roller wherein the counterbalancing mechanism is configured to impart a rotational force on the roller and the rotational force is adjusted by rotating the axle; and a locking mechanism attached to the roller and configured to lock the axle at a given angular orientation, wherein the locking mechanism includes a shear pin. A method of tensioning a counterbalancing mechanism may also be provided. The method may include: mounting the counterbalancing mechanism to a shaft; mounting the lock wheel to the shaft; turning the shaft to tension the counterbalancing mechanism; and inserting a shear pin into a hole in the lock wheel to lock the shaft in place.

摘要： A fabric fire rated door is described. The door utilizes a fire resistant fabric curtain with an end lock attachment. A tubular steel shaft is driven by an internal tube motor. The shaft is supported to minimize deflection. Single door shafts can also be joined together with a coupler shaft to create infinitely wide doors. The coupler shaft is spring loaded to act as a take up reel for a coupling curtain which will overlap each adjacent single door shaft. All curtains are attached to the same bottom bar. A hood covers the shaft, curtain, and the supports that run across the width of the door. The curtain travels over these horizontal supports as it drops down through the hood opening. The horizontal supports keep the curtain in position for proper seal during a fire/smoke event.
