The shackle is configured to house a chemical deterrent within the shackle wall. The chemical deterrent is pressurized while being housed inside the shackle such that a breach in the integrity of the shackle wall causes an aerosolized release of the chemical deterrent.

摘要： An antitheft device attachable to an article, formed by two parts, one part comprises a means for remote interaction with a terminal detecting passage of the device, a hinge to allow movement between a protection position, and a release position, one of the parts having, at the end opposite to the movable hinge, a needle able to move in a direction perpendicular to the mid-plane of the device, the other part comprising a housing for receiving the needle, the housing comprising lock configured to allow the release of the needle with an opener, wherein the first part has three retractable cages enabling the needle to move between a retracted position where the tip of the needle does not project beyond the internal surface of the first part, and a deployed position in which the needle is engaged in the complementary housing when the device is in the closed position.

The security tag assembly comprises a base and a tag member removably connected to the merchandise being protected or monitored. A locking assembly is disposed within the base and is structured to be biased into a locking orientation relative to a connector pin of the tag member. A release assembly, also disposed within the base, is structured to facilitate the authorized release of the locking assembly upon contact with an externally applied detachment assembly. In particular the release assembly comprises first and second members disposed in a movable interlocked relation with one another, wherein the first member is structured to be rotationally disposed upon contact with the detachment assembly. The second member is structured for disposition into a displacing engagement with the locking assembly upon the rotational movement of the first member.

摘要： An EAS/EXPULSION DETRIMENTAL SUBSTANCE tag in which the tag is held to an article by an attaching assembly, a part of which may be releasably prevented from being withdrawn from the body of the tag. The tag body may be provided with an arcuate channel through which an arcuate detacher probe can be guided for releasing the attaching assembly part. A spring clamp may provide the releasable preventing function and may include jaws specifically adapted to respond to in-plane torsional and/or other forces provided by the arcuate probe, which may be moved through the arcuate channel by rotation to reach the spring clamp. An abutment may be placed within the arcuate channel to prevent a relatively rigid wire formed into an arcuate shape from being used to release the attaching assembly part. The Benefit Denial (Ink portion) of this tag may feature an ink vial that may be disposed inside of a rubber bladder, which may then be placed in a completely sealed, ultrasonically welded compartment. In one embodiment, when the tag and its ink vial are attacked, the tag will expel the detrimental substance out and onto the article being protected. In another embodiment, when the tag is attacked, the detrimental substance may be forced out of the bladder and then into a channel and then out a hole in the rampart area and may stain the article that is being protected.

摘要： A theft preventing device comprises: a lock unit 11; and a coupling member 12 having both terminals 12a and 12b which are connected to the lock unit 11, at least one of the terminals being separable from the lock unit. In the device, the inside of the coupling member 12 is filled with a fluid including adhesive material, so that, when the coupling member 12 is damaged, the fluid is splashed out of the coupling member 12 whereby the adhesive material is stuck onto an object or objects around the device. Hence, from detection of the adhesive material, it can be determined who has broken it, and it can be confirmed that the lock unit has been locked.

摘要： An anti theft ink tag designed to permanently render an article useless if unauthorized removal of the tag is attempted. The anti theft ink tag includes ampules containing a permanent staining substance. The ampules are supported in a base component with holes that allow the staining substance to escape if the ampules are fractured. A cover component with a break away element covers the base component. Permanently attached to the break away element is an elongated pin type connecting unit that is used to attach the tag to the article being protected, and locked into place by a locking mechanism. When an unauthorized removal of the tag is attempted, the break away element fractures the ampules and also exposes the outside of the cover component to the staining substance.
