A rod inserted through the form, form post and tube holds the insert in place while castable material is poured in. The form is inverted with the guard rail base inside, the rod can be slid out of the form, and the form is removed. The handle is gripped by a claw on the obtuse angled chassis of a transporter. A handle on the chassis can be pushed to raise the guard rail base and to move the guard rail base on the surface by wheels. The guard rail base can be placed upon a pad having notches in its border.

摘要： A wood support protection device for protecting wood supports from water damage includes a tube that defines an interior space. The tube has a top and a bottom. The top is open. The top is complementary to a lower end of a wood support. A plurality of rods is coupled to and extends substantially perpendicularly between opposing sides of the tube. A plurality of slots is positioned in the tube adjacent to the bottom. The top is configured to insert the lower end of the wood support into the interior space. The rods are configured to retain the wooden support above the bottom of the tube. The slots are positioned in the tube such that the slots are configured to drain water from the interior space. The wood support is protected from damage and rot caused by exposure of the lower end of the wood support to water.

摘要： A portable and modular foundation that can be utilized to support a monopole includes a central hub and a plurality of legs. A proximal end of each leg is removably attached to the central hub. A plurality of floor panels extends from proximate the hub to a perimeter of the foundation and define a substantially uninterrupted floor. With the plurality of floor panels attached to the legs, the foundation can optionally be buried where the soil or other material is positioned on top of the floor panels to provide the necessary ballast to allow the foundation to retain a monopole with a piece of equipment in an elevated position. Alternatively, if the foundation is to be utilized above ground, a plurality of wall panels can be attached to the floor panels and the legs with braces to retain the wall panels in a substantially vertical position. The plurality of wall panels forms a substantially continuous wall about a perimeter of foundation such that ballast can be placed therein.

In particular, it relates to framework support systems of the non-penetrative type particularly used for supporting heating and ventilating apparatus and other service and plant apparatus on a roof of a building. The application describes a support (10) for a modular framework system, the support comprising a planar foot (11) comprising a socket (12) having a substantially rectangular cross-section with a long axis and a short axis. The socket has a base and an opening. The socket is provided with one or more elongate ribs (25) between the base and the opening and extending into the socket. The socket further comprises a projection (20) extending upwardly from the base, the projection having a spine (21) aligned with the long axis of the socket. Preferably, each rib (25) has a stepped configuration such that an operatively lower portion of the rib extends further into the socket than an operatively upper portion of the rib.
