    • Slidable barrier arrangements for a structure having a plurality of stories are described. A first retainer element can be operatively connected to the structure. The retainer element can span a plurality of stories of the structure. The retainer element can include a plurality of retainer segments, including an uppermost retainer segment and one or more lower retainer segments. The one or more lower retainer segments can include a lowermost retainer segment. A barrier and the first retainer element can be brought together such that a portion of the barrier is retainably engaged by the lower retainer segments of the first retainer element. The length of the barrier can substantially correspond to the length of the lower retainer segments. Thus, the uppermost retainer segment can extend vertically above an upper edge side of the barrier. The barrier can be selectively moved, such as by sliding, within the first retainer element.

    • A support apparatus for a construction safety net. A frame is configured with a length sufficient to span at least two floors of a building under construction, and a width defined by parallel vertical support posts. Pairs of mounting brackets are affixed at or near the edges of adjacent exposed floors of the building. Each mounting bracket has a channel portion extending beyond the edge of the respective floor and aligned with the channel portions of mounting brackets affixed on adjacent floors. The vertical support posts of the frame are movable through the vertical channels and can be lifted up into the next pair of channel portions as additional floors are built out. A locking mechanism is used to secure the vertical support posts to the brackets.

    • The present disclosure relates to a perimetric protection system for buildings undergoing construction including at least two masts (1) spaced from one another and each formed by two vertical U-profiles (1); a horizontal platform (3) supported on at least two horizontal beams (300) attached to the masts by means of first attachment elements or anchors (130). The system further comprises: at least two inclined beams (100) parallel to one another, which are attached: to the masts (1) by means of at least two second attachment elements (110) forming a first angle (α); to the horizontal beams (300) by means of at least two third attachment elements (310) forming a second angle (β); and, the at least two inclined beams (100) having a free end (100a) in the third attachment elements (310), such that their height is greater than the height of the horizontal platform (2); an inclined protective panel (120) attached to said at least two inclined beams (100).
