The fall protection system also includes a mast assembly connected to the base plate proximate to the first side of the base plate. The fall protection system further includes a jib inclined with respect to the mast assembly and pivotably connected to the mast assembly. The fall protection system includes a counterweight connectable to the base plate proximate to the second side of the base plate.

摘要： A railing base includes one rail post receptor and one counterweight receptor. The rail post receptor accommodates 1-4 railing posts. The counterweight receptor includes a hollow bottom allowing water drainage. The rail post receptor includes four upper receiving holes open towards the top, each configured to receive by insertion and to hold upright a railing post of a guardrail. The counterweight receptor accommodates concrete paver stones each of same determined square shape and size and stacked one on top of the other. The counterweight receptor is delimited at the bottom by a horizontal soleplate and laterally by four vertical side walls perpendicular to the soleplate. The side walls are adjusted to border and retain laterally the concrete paver stones. The counterweight receptor is open towards the top. The rail post receptor is arranged along one corresponding side wall of the counterweight receptor, the railing base being sheet metal.

摘要： A safety anchor device for limiting movement of a person or arresting a fall of a person working at height, and in particular to an inflatable safety anchor device that may be positioned at a high point and then inflated with a liquid to provide a dead-weight anchor device. A dead-weight anchor device for securing a line to a person working at height comprises an attachment for a line that is provided on a top surface of a flexible-walled container. The container has an internal volume that may in use be inflated with a quantity of water to provide an anchoring dead-weight and subsequently deflated by letting water escape. The container has a plurality of flexible walls, including a pair of walls that are internally connected by drop threads that limit the separation between said pair of walls when the internal volume is inflated by water.

摘要： A counter-balance weight for a modular safety rail includes a solid body of a compact shape which defines a substantially planar major surface which, in use, is intended to rest on a support surface The body defines a substantially linear through-bore for receiving an end of a spacer member. The through-bore extends continuously through the body in a direction substantially parallel with the substantially planar major surface of the body. The through-bore extends between a pair of end faces which, at least in part, are non-parallel end faces and the body further defines a screw-threaded aperture which extends through the body to intersect and communicate with the through-bore. The body may have a substantially triangular shape in transverse cross-section.

摘要： An anchoring system includes an anchor member to anchor the lifeline and at least one extending unit to extend the anchor member out to a working position beyond (horizontally) and above (vertically) an edge to provide for an overhead anchoring point. The anchoring system preferably further includes a support to which the extending unit is attached. The support immobilizes the overhead anchoring system so that the anchor member remains at the working position (even in the case of a fall by the worker). A method of anchoring a fall protection lifeline for use by a worker working at or beyond an edge includes the steps: elevating an anchor member to position the lifeline above the head of a worker and supporting the anchor member at the working position. The method can also include the step of extending the anchor member to a working position horizontally beyond and above the edge.
