These processes and methods comprise applying a first layer comprising a UV curable primer sealer on a front surface of the pine wood; heat drying the first layer in the presence of UV radiation so as to at least partially cure the first layer comprising the UV curable primer sealer; applying a second layer comprising the UV curable primer sealer on a back surface of the pine wood, the second layer being thinner than the first layer; and heat drying the second layer in the presence of UV radiation so as to at least partially cure the second layer comprising the UV curable primer sealer.

摘要： A molding system and method for installation that covers existing molding. The molding system covers existing trim for doorways and floors with a more decorative molding. The invention includes a molding overlay that has three points of contact. An upper corner block covers the intersections of the existing doorway molding, and a lower corner block covers a section of the existing doorway molding with the existing baseboard, eliminating the need to cut mitered angles in the overlay molding. Recesses in the backside of the corner blocks allow the corner blocks to receive the old molding. The molding overlay abuts the corner blocks, thereby avoiding the requirements for making any cuts other than perpendicular cuts.

摘要： A decorative paneling system for walls comprises a lower crosspiece adapted to be positioned at a bottom of a wall. The lower crosspiece defines a longitudinal channel on a top edge surface thereof. Main panels each have a bottom portion shaped so as to be received in the longitudinal channel of the crosspieces, so as to be slidable with respect to the lower crosspiece. Posts each have a bottom portion shaped so as to be received in the longitudinal channel of the crosspiece, so as to be slidable with respect to the lower crosspiece, and lateral edge portions connectable to lateral edges portions of the main panels in a decorative configuration of the decorative paneling system. A sequence of main panels and posts is received in the longitudinal channel of the lower crosspiece and adjusted in position to the decorative configuration by a translation with respect to the lower crosspiece, so as to form a decorative paneling for the wall. A method for determining a number of crosspiece, post and panel elements is also provided. An adjustable post is also provided.

This member has an outwardly facing wire channel and a baseboard holding bar along its top edge. The baseboard has a face which extends over the wire-containing channel. The baseboard may be cut and various outlet accessible fittings formed in an insert along the baseboard.

The splines enter the grooves, and the frictional force exerted by the tight fit is enough to hold the trim. At least one of the grooves/splines may be angled, so the trim becomes wedged tightly against the face of the wall and frame.

摘要： A trim arrangement for interior partitions comprising a trim member of resiliently flexible generally planar construction having a pair of outwardly facing upper and lower trim walls juxtaposed to and separated by a continuous slot extending longitudinally of the member, which slot exposes a rearwardly inset continuous anchoring wall defining on the rearwardly facing side of the trim member a rearwardly facing seating surface that is straddled on either side of same by bracing flanges, all of which are applied against the partition wall surface when the trim member is secured to the partition wall surface by applying fasteners at random positions along the anchoring wall through the slot, with a seal strip being force fitted into locking arrangement within the slot to mask the fasteners along the length of the trim member. The trim member in one form is applied along the lower edge of the partition as a base trim and in this form the upper trim wall arcs rearwardly to meet with the partition wall surface, and the lower trim wall is in substantial parellelism with the plane of the trim member for its width and meets the floor. In another form the trim member is applied at chair back top level to serve as a chair rail, and in this form the upper and lower trim walls are the same as the upper trim wall for the base trim.At corners, adjacent ends of the trim members have a corner type trim section secured to the partition walls free of connection to the trim members and in slip fit relation to the trim members to accommodate relative movement of the partition walls due to drift, seismic shock, thermal movement, and the like.
