摘要： A method and apparatus for sealing the joints, using a unified protective joint cap, of jointed building panel systems having a plurality of building panels. The unified sealing member is applied on top of the jointing means of the panel system wherein no modifications or alternations of the jointing means is required. As such, the protective joint cap may be applied directly to a jointing system in need of repair without the requirement of resealing the jointing system. Furthermore, the protective joint cap does not require an anchoring means to be installed prior to application. The protective joint cap further preferably contains an incorporated extrusion suitable for maintaining a bead of liquified elastomeric sealant, such as RTV, which may be applied prior to the sealing member's installation.

摘要： This invention relates to repairing the water leakage problem of panel joints in an exterior building surface. In addition, this method may also be used to project new panel joints. A long lasting effective repair method is provided by using two extruded component parts assembled in the field to cover up the existing panel joints such that a number of P.E. Cavities and air links are created to form P.E. Seals around the existing panel joints such that elements such as exterior water can no longer reach the leaking joints. Since P.E. Seals can tolerate a significant degree of imperfection without causing the water infiltration problem, the effectiveness of the repair work can be expected to last for a long time.

摘要： The substantially leak proof glazing system comprises a plurality of sheets of glazing material assembled on a reticulated space frame. Rather than sealing the glazing material to the supporting structure, there is a gasket bridging the gap between adjacent sheets of glazing material and sealing against the inside faces of the sheets to provide a glass-to-glass seal. The gasket has a generally U-shaped transverse cross section with the rounded end of each leg of the U bearing against the face of the glazing material. Belleville springs are provided for resiliently biasing the glazing material toward the gasket to compensate for compression set of the gasket. A Belleville spring is also used for compressing the base of the gasket against an underlying support to provide a reliable seal around a stud that penetrates the gasket for supporting the Belleville springs. The gasket is assembled from extruded linear sections bonded to node sections at the corners of sheets of glazing material so that, in effect, there is a large reticulated gasket for the entire glazing system.

摘要： The specification discloses a modular sun porch which can be easily and quickly assembled. The wall assembly includes a plurality of identical modular window panels whose lateral edges interfit in male/female relationship to provide weather seals therebetween. Modular door units, which have a width equal to one or more window panels, can be substituted for the window panels in the wall assembly and include frames which interfit with the male/female scheme. The base for the wall assembly is levelable and hides both the base tie-downs and the leveling mechanism. The roof includes rafters and purlins which slide-lock into position between beams and rafters, respectively. Roof panels rest on gaskets carried by the rafters and purlins, and retainers are secured to the rafters to retain the panels in position and to improve the weather seal.
