摘要： Disclosed herein is a modular suspended ceiling grid system that uses joining hubs to connect tee frame members into a load-bearing framework. The tee frame members have coupling structures on each end that attach to the joining hubs. The joining hubs also have central holes that allow a sprinkler system or other hardware to be installed without altering any of the grid system elements. A plurality of hangers adapted to engage a top rail of the tee frame members via either a snap fit or a sliding fit may be utilized to connect the ceiling grid system to the building structure.

摘要： A grid hanger assembly for mounting a ceiling system to an overhead support structure. The grid hanger assembly may include a mounting bracket having a mounting element and being configured for attachment to the overhead support structure and a hanger member. The hanger member may include an adjustment plate and a coupling member extending from the adjustment plate. The adjustment plate may include a plurality of mounting elements arranged in an axially spaced apart manner. The hanger may be mounted to the mounting bracket in a selected mounting position of a plurality of selectable mounting positions determined by sliding the hanger member relative to the mounting bracket in a direction of the vertical axis until a selected one of the plurality of mounting elements of the hanger member is aligned with the mounting element of the mounting bracket. A fastener may lock the hanger member to the mounting bracket.

摘要： Disclosed is a device for supporting acoustical ceilings and other suspended objects. The device includes a clamp that is removably inserted into an outer sleeve. The exterior wall of the clamp includes threaded elements that can mate with threaded elements disposed on the interior wall of the outer sleeve so that the clamp can twist in and out of the outer sleeve in a screw-like manner. The clamp includes a cavity for securing a ceiling wire therein, wherein the ceiling wire can be attached to an overhead ceiling structure. The outer sleeve is removably secured to a ceiling grid. In use, the clamp can be repositioned within the outer sleeve to adjust the height of the ceiling grid. In this way, the present invention can be used in construction and commercial applications in a convenient manner, thereby simplifying the process of providing support for acoustic ceilings.

摘要： A suspended ceiling system in one embodiment includes a ceiling panel and a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a cable secured to a building support structure, a first coupler for attachment to the cable, and a second coupler for attachment to the ceiling panel. The first coupler includes a cable mounting channel having first and second openings and a cable adjustment mechanism for releasably gripping the cable. In one implementation, the adjustment mechanism includes a spring-biased plunger configured to engage the cable. The cable is routed through the channel from the first to second opening. The position of the cable with respect to the first coupler may be adjusted to select the desired position and angular orientation of the ceiling panel. In one embodiment, the first coupler includes ball element pivotably engaged with the second coupler to accommodate various angular positions of the panel and/or panel configurations.
