摘要： A fastening rail for embedding into a concrete element has one rail back, two rail lips and two rail longitudinal sides disposed opposite one another. The rail lips delimit a slot between them. The fastening rail is realized in an anchorless manner and forms at least one undercut from the rail back in the direction of the outside of the rail lips. To improve anchoring in the concrete, the rail back has profiling on its outside which is remote from the rail lips. The fastening rail is advantageously embedded into a concrete element such that the outside of the rail lips lies flush with the surface of the concrete element. A method for making a fastening rail provides that a profiling is produced in at least top one center region a metal plate and the metal plate is re-shaped to form the rail back, rail longitudinal sides and rail lips.

摘要： A stadium and arena seating system is provided which utilizes concrete tread surfaces and metallic or other non-concrete vertical risers therebetween. The concrete treads have front and rear embeds embedded within the front and rear ends of the treads respectively. The embeds comprise a metallic or other non-concrete material similar to the vertical risers. The vertical risers are arranged in a shingled or other self-sealing fashion between the embeds of the treads to provide water and debris shedding. In certain embodiments, an overlapping vertical riser may be used which provides water shedding without the need for embeds within the concrete tread surfaces.

摘要： Concrete inserts are disclosed which are preferably embedded in the rear surface of a concrete wall panel and used to mount and support the wall panel from a building frame. The insert preferably comprises a U-shaped metal housing defining a longitudinally extending channel, the housing comprising two side members in spaced, facing relation to one another and a bight portion between the side members, the bight portion having a longitudinally extending slot therethrough. The insert is adapted to be embedded in the rear surface of the wall panel with the bight portion flush with the rear surface and the side members embedded in the concrete of the panel. The side members are preferably of a trapezoidal shape which provides the insert with high resistance to withdrawal from the concrete. The concrete insert preferably has a nut received in a concrete-free chamber beneath the opening in the bight portion, a single piece of foam plastic preferably being used to retain the nut in position and prevent liquid concrete from entering the concrete-free chamber during casting of the wall panel.

The U-channel is a structural support element which is secured to a suitable substrate or, more commonly, embedded in concrete walls. The insert includes a main body portion of greater length than width having a threaded bore therethrough for insertion of a bolt therein, the bolt holding the support member in place. The insert also includes integral resilient legs extending from the rear wall of the insert and contacting the rear wall of the channel member, the legs biasing the insert forwardly against the side walls of the channel member.
