摘要： A barrier system includes a plurality of barriers that can be used to form a barrier wall. Each barrier includes a first panel at least partially bounding a cavity and a first leg assembly supporting the first panel in an elevated position. A plurality of spikes are removably disposed on the first panel. A flexible snare is disposed within the cavity of the first panel, the snare being secured to the plurality of spikes so that when the spikes are removed from the first panel, the snare is drawn away from the first panel by the spikes.

摘要： A raised pavement marker (RPM) is sized and configured to comply with Department of Transportation requirements and includes a main body with a top side, opposite angled side faces, opposite ends and a bottom surface structured to be bonded to a road surface. A sheet substrate is coated on a top surface with multiple layers of a photoluminescent composition containing one or more rare earth materials that emits a highly visible glowing light in dark or near dark conditions for at least 6 hours when fully charged. The sheet substrate is inserted within a recessed pocket on the top side of the RPM with the photo-luminescent top surface facing up and is covered by a transparent acrylic lens that is electronically welded to the main body to provide an integral one piece sealed structure. The opposite angled side faces may be fitted with prismatic reflective lenses.

摘要： A method for forming and applying retroreflective pavement markings comprising the steps of a) spraying the area with a hot epoxy binder, b) depositing particles of a microcrystalline ceramic element having a high refractive index onto the fresh epoxy binder, c) depositing relatively large spherical glass beads onto the fresh epoxy binder, and d) depositing relatively small spherical glass beads onto the fresh epoxy binder. The small beads provide high reflectivity in daytime and at night on dry pavement. The large beads provide superior reflectivity at night on damp pavement. The ceramic element particles provide high reflectivity when wet and during heavy rain. Where the pavement is subject to snowplowing, the marking may be inlaid in a recessed area in the pavement, the recess being about 100 mils deep, and the wet epoxy layer being about 20 mils thick.

A second segment opposes the first segment with respect to an axis, wherein the second segment is a substantial reflection of the first segment across the axis, but reversed along the normal direction.
