    • The knitting spirality stabilizer is constituted of a frame (1) and a circle pattern constituted of one fixed ring (2) and one movable ring (3). A layout circumferentially located on the movable ring regulates the operation diameter according to the fabric. The layout includes external rests (4), which can be height regulated and position stabilized using external pins (6). External magnets (7) are located on the external rests. Turn wheels (10) on the external rests enable smooth fabric rolling without wears. Internal mechanism (9) is positioned inside the frame and constituted of foldable frame (11) and internal pins (16) for the initial placement. Internal rests (12) on the foldable frame correspond to the external rests, and have their own respective turn wheels (10) and internal magnets (8). Internal and external magnets have opposite polarity to create a magnetic field. Flexible bands (13) are used as drivers during the fabric passage.

    • A twisted textile web is detwisted by continuously withdrawing the web from a supply and passing the web longitudinally along a path and over a curved deflecting surface formed by a roller that deflects the web and divides the path into an upstream leg and a downstream leg that are out of alignment with each other. The deflecting surface can pivot about a pivot axis which passes through a pivot located to the upstream side of a straight line passing through the center of curvature of the deflecting surface and angularly equispaced between the legs. In a central position of the deflecting surface the two legs, the surface, and the pivot are all coplanar so that a twist in the web will pivotally deflect the surface in a direction depending on the direction of twist. The extent of pivoting is detected and the web is detwisted in the upstream leg in response to the detected pivoting of the surface. It is also possible to rotate the entire supply synchronously with the detwisting device to prevent a twist from being added to the web with the system according to this invention.

    • The invention relates to the wet processing in particular of knitted tubular material in the broad tubular state which in a first processing section is led through a fluid bath then inflated to form a balloon section and afterwards led in the broad tubular state through the gap between a pair of squeezer rollers. Within the fluid bath the incoming material in hank form is subjected to twist sensing and if any twist is detected the incoming tubular material is rotated in the region before the first processing section to undo the twist. The completely and stably relaxed and untwisted tubular material leaves this first processing section in a stable broad tubular state and can then be passed in an optimum manner through the succeeding principal processing sections.

    • A detwister apparatus for use in finishing operations on longitudinally travelling cloth or other sheet materials, especially materials such as knit goods which require handling at low levels of tension. The cloth, gathered into a rope-like bundle, is passed through a rotatable tube guide. The entrance end of the guide is fitted with a plurality of smoothly curved protrusions which extend radially inwardly only partially across the entrance, and are circumferentially spaced apart to engage the rope-like bundle lightly. The entrance may further be fitted with a bell mouth frame to guide the cloth bundle smoothly into the guide. By rotating the guide, the cloth bundle is turned by the protrusions, and is thus twisted or detwisted.

    • An apparatus for detecting and eliminating a twister in a running web of flexible material comprises a catch section (5) for twisters (22), which extends between a web guide gap (6) on the inlet side and a web guide gap (7) on the outlet side; a rotor (9), which is controllable in rotation about an axis parallel to the web running direction (4) and which houses the web guide gap (6) on the inlet side; a scanner arrangement (13) for detection of a twister (22) that has entered the catch section (5); and a control unit (12), which, upon detection of a twister (22) by the scanner and detection arrangement (13, 15), triggers the drive (10) of the rotor (9) for rotation of the web guide gap (6) on the inlet side and thus for untwisting the twister (22).
