摘要： The present disclosure provides a vehicle side airbag device including: a side airbag, housed inside a side support section of a vehicle seat, that inflates and deploys toward a vehicle front side upon being supplied with gas from an inflator, the side airbag including: a bag body that is formed in a bag shape; a front-rear left-right partitioning cloth that partitions the bag body into a front bag section and a rear bag section, and that partitions the rear bag section into a left and a right chamber in a row along a vehicle width direction in an inflated and deployed state of the bag body; and a tether, provided at at least one chamber of the left or the right chamber, that bears tension in the inflated and deployed state, and that restricts inflation of the at least one chamber toward the vehicle front side.

The airbag includes: a fabric containing an aramid fiber having an young's modulus of 600 to 1000 g/d and a tenacity of 20 to 30 g/d, and having a cover factor of 1500 to 2100, and a coating layer formed on the surface of the fabric, wherein a seam strength of an adhered member measured in accordance with ASTM D 1683 is 200 to 600 kgf/20 mm.

摘要： A sewing apparatus is provided for sewing vehicular air bags. Each air bag includes first and second side panels and a main body panel extending therebetween. First and second sewing machines are provided for sewing the seams between the respective first and second side panels and the main body panel. The sewing apparatus comprises at least one rotatable template to which the air bag side panels are mounted. Rotation of the templates advances peripheral portions of the side panels into proximity to the sewing machine, while longitudinal side edges of the main body panel are simultaneously advanced into the sewing machine. The apparatus includes motors and/or air cylinders for moving the first and second sewing machines and the templates towards or away from one another, and for adjusting the relative elevation of the templates and air bag side panels relative to the sewing machines. The apparatus further includes motors for moving the sewing machines toward or away from one another relative to the templates and for adjusting the rotational orientations of the sewing machines. A controller operatively controls the movements of the templates and sewing machines and the speeds of the sewing machines.

摘要： A device or attachment for a bag filling and weighing machine in which filled bags of pliant material and containing discrete articles are transferred from the filling machine to a bag closing means including sewing head means and wherein a filled bag is moved in upright position with the upper end of the bag secured in a bag holder and then released from the bag holder for movement in upright position to the sewing head means. The transfer device includes a pair of endless chains having inboard lays which extend from the vicinity of the release of the bags from the bag holder to the reengagement of the bag by bag closing means. The endless flexible members include pointed elements which penetrate and engage upper wall portions of the bag above the contents thereof and below the bag holder so as to retain and guide upper wall portions of the pliant bag to the bag closing means. A bag holder having a pointed rod extending therefrom for engagement of excess bag material while the bag is being transferred from the bag holder to the bag closure means.
