摘要： A method and associated spinning machine for maintaining spinning units of the spinning machine includes a plurality of the spinning units arranged next to one another and at least one maintenance device that is movable along the spinning units to perform maintenance procedures on the spinning units. Prior to maintenance of a spinning unit by the maintenance device, a housing of the spinning unit is opened. Subsequently, the maintenance is performed and then the housing is closed. One or both of the opening and the closing of the housing is carried out autonomously with a sealing device operably configured at the spinning unit.

摘要： An air jet spinning machine for producing spun threads from staple fiber strands includes a number of spinning positions, to each of which compressed air nozzles are arranged for the purpose of generating the spinning twist. A joint compressed air regulator is connected upstream of the spinning positions, which regulator includes a pressure sensor and a regulating device. The compressed air regulator is set at a reference pressure, which corresponds to the unregulated static pressure prevailing when all spinning positions are in operation. In the case of a change in the static pressure, the compressed air regulator re-adjusts to the reference pressure.

摘要： A twin unit has two drafting devices for drafting fiber strands and is applicable in a spinning machine. The twin unit includes a common housing for the two drivable drafting devices, whereby the housing is detachably mounted in a machine frame. The drafting devices include a number of drivable bottom rollers and are arranged essentially mirror-symmetrical to one another. Each bottom roller has an area which drafts the fiber strand and is characterized in that the bottom roller has two bearing points. The two bearing points of each bottom roller are arranged one on either side of the area which drafts the fiber strand. In one variation, at least two opposite bottom rollers may form a bottom roller pair, in which the bearing points facing to the plane of symmetry of the twin unit are taken up in a joint bearing take-up. In addition, a top roller in the form of a twin pressure roller may be assigned to a bottom roller pair.

摘要： In an arrangement for application in open-end rotor spinning, an opening roller is housed in a swivel housing. The swivel housing can, together with the assembled opening roller, be removed from the arrangement for open-end rotor spinning when the machine is in operation. The opening roller, due to its mass, continues to rotate after it has been separated from the tangential belt which drives it. A locking device is provided which prevents the removal of the swivel housing when the opening roller is rotating. This results in the opening roller being at a standstill when the swivel housing is removed. The risk of injury caused by a still rotating opening roller is eliminated.

摘要： A creel which can deliver untwisted yarns from bobbins in a weaving machine while at a same time twisting them or else twisting some of such untwisted yarns in the S twist and the remaining untwisted yarns in the Z twist with relative low investment for equipments. The creel employs a mechanism similar to a ring twisting mechanism and includes a required number of spindles for rotating bobbins supported thereon, a ring secured in a concentrical relationship to each of the spindles, a traveler mounted for movement on each of the rings, and a driving device for driving the spindles to rotate in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction such that when the untwisted yarns are unwound from the bobbins via the travelers, a twist in the S or Z direction may be applied to the untwisted yarns at a same time.
