    • A filtration system for clarifying a cloudy beverage from at least one tank in which dregs have formed, the clarifying occurring through a cross-flow filtration. The filtration system includes: a first filtration module having a first filtration element, the first filtration element including a first channel having a first diameter; and, a second filtration circuit located in parallel to the first filtration circuit, the second filtration circuit including a second filtration module having a second filtration element, the second filtration element including a second channel having a second diameter, the second diameter being larger than the first diameter. A method for filtering a cloudy beverage from at least one tank in which dregs have formed, the method using the just-described filtration system.

    • An object of the present invention is to provide a brewed liquid filtering system which is capable of reducing a production cost and which has a structure suitable for cleaning of a filter. A brewed liquid filtering system 1 of the present invention has a first branching pipe and a second branching pipe. The first branching pipe and the second branching pipe are provided with a first filter and a second filter, respectively.The first branching pipe is provided with first branching pipe valves V1-1 and V1-2 arranged so that the first filter is interposed therebetween, and connected to first cleaning pipes 10-31 and 10-32 which are arranged closer to the first filter than the first branching pipe valves V1-1 and V1-2.     • A method of preparing a blended alcoholic beverage and a blended alcoholic beverage formulation thus produced. The blended alcoholic beverage is made by a process including the steps of: a) combining a juiced fruit and optionally grinds of the juiced fruit with water and, optionally, other flavorings or additives, to produce a concentrate; b) blending the concentration with a sweetening agent; c) heating the sweetened concentrate for a period of time; d) filtering the heated concentrate; e) cooling the heated concentrate to a temperature between about 115 and 165° F.; 1) adding a proofed alcohol, and optionally a stabilizer, to the heated and cooled concentrate; and g) re-filtering the heated concentrate to produce the fruit-based alcoholic beverage.

    • The invention relates to a crossflow-filtration method for beverages, in particular beer, which comprises the following steps: a) the feed liquid is introduced into a filter module by means of a tangential flow through a filter membrane (6) in a first direction, whereby the filtrate flow on the filtrate side (19) of the filter module is maintained within predetermined threshold values; b) the entry pressure is reduced and the filter is backflushed by surges of filtrate initiated by a reversal of the flow direction transversally to the membrane; c) the feed liquid is optionally introduced in an inverse flow direction to that of step a) and the concentrate is evacuated on the non-filtrate (7) side of the module; d) the entry pressure is reduced and the filter is backflushed by surges of filtrate initiated by a reversal of the flow direction transversally to the membrane; e) steps a) to d) are repeated until the filtrate flow lies below the lower predetermined threshold value; f) to k) the filter is emptied by applying pressure, backflushed, rinsed and l) steps are resumed.
