摘要： A simplified process is provided for creating hybrid crude oils and hybrid crude fractions with characteristics superior to the original. The process uniquely combines gases with crude oil or crude fractions in an effervescent turbulent manner at low temperatures and pressures and without the further aid of catalysts. The process breaks large chain hydrocarbons into smaller chain hydrocarbons, molecularly combines carbon, hydrogen, and/or hydrocarbon molecules from the gases with and into hydrocarbon molecules of the crude or crude fraction, and separates contaminants and impurities.

摘要： An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a pyrolysis device including a reactor in which an injected raw material and a melted liquid metal are present together, a circulating pump connected to the reactor, a buffer tank disposed on an upper portion of the reactor and receiving the liquid metal from the circulating pump, a nozzle coupled with the buffer tank and jetting the liquid metal within the buffer tank into the reactor, a separating apparatus separating pyrolyzed char and slag, and a combustion furnace connected to the reactor to combust the fuel supplied from the reactor and supply heat to the reactor, thereby reacting the liquid metal sprays jetted from the nozzle with gases generated in the reactor to purify the gases.

The systems and methods can also be integrated with a steam assisted gravity drainage system.

摘要： A process for converting feedstock into liquid hydrocarbon fuel condensate includes the steps of providing an unconventional feedstock for producing liquid hydrocarbon fuel, providing a heated heat transfer medium flowing through at least one thermal reaction zone under substantially carbon rejection process conditions and placing the feedstock onto the heated heat transfer medium flow so that the feedstock substantially rides on the flow surface of the heated heat transfer medium without substantially any mixing of the feedstock with the heat transfer medium, vaporizing at least a portion of the feedstock to form vapours while the feedstock is in the thermal reaction zones by heat transfer to the feedstock from the heat transfer medium and condensing the vapours into a liquid hydrocarbon fuel condensate.

摘要： A process for reducing the molecular weight of hydrocarbons using NaAlCl.sub.4 is provided wherein the hydrogen to carbon ratio of the liquid product slate is approximately the same as the feed material. The process comprises contacting the feed material with a molten salt of NaAlCl.sub.4 having substantially no excess aluminum chloride or sodium chloride, preferably at a temperature of at least 660.degree. F., and at a pressure above atmospheric, preferably from about 50 psia to about 2000 psia, depending upon the product slate desired. According to the present invention, heavy hydrocarbons are converted to a liquid product slate wherein the product slate has an average molecular weight substantially lower than the average molecular weight of the hydrocarbon feedstock.

摘要： Various processes and configuration are provided for a chemical recycling facility that can lower the carbon footprint and global warming potential of the facility. More particularly, we have discovered numerous ways for reducing the carbon footprint of the facility by: (i) recycling at least a portion of the residual heat energy from the pyrolysis effluent back upstream to the pyrolysis process and waste plastic liquification stage; (ii) recovering at least a portion of the carbon dioxide from at least a portion of the pyrolysis flue gas and/or the pyrolysis gas; (iii) feeding at least a portion of the pyrolysis gas at a cracker facility at a position downstream of a cracker furnace; (iv) using at least a portion of a demethanizer overhead stream as a fuel in a pyrolysis facility and/or a cracking facility; and (v) providing a chemical recycling facility that contains a pyrolysis facility co-located with a cracking facility. Thus, the global warming potential of the chemical recycling facility may be optimized and lowered due to the processes and configurations described herein.
