摘要： An apparatus is provided for securing an optical cable unit to one or more surfaces. The optical cable unit includes a length of adhesive tape and a length of optical cable. The apparatus includes a housing having an outlet and an adjustable securing portion disposed adjacent the outlet. The adjustable securing portion has first and second surface portions configured to adjust between first and second positions. The surface portions form a first angle therebetween in the first position and a second angle therebetween in the second position. The adjustable securing portion may be selectively attachable to the housing. A system is provided and can include a housing and at least two adjustable securing portions. Also provided is a separate adjustable securing portion adapted for use with an apparatus, and a method of applying an optical cable unit to one or more surfaces.

A plurality of configurations for the dual tape dispenser dispensing reversed-conjoined tapes may be manufactured for use with tape bore openings ranging from three inches to one inch in diameter for scaled-down versions to accommodate smaller tape rolls in all of which the dispensers are for dispensing reversed-conjoined tapes that are partially and longitudinally overlapped on the inside edges, thus exposing the remain adhesive portion on each side of the reversed-conjoined tapes.

摘要： A hand tool used to mask and cover a large area when painting that dispenses unwound sections of two rolls of masking tape in a side-by-side manner on a desired wall with their adhesive surfaces oriented in opposite directions. The hand tool includes two spools horizontally spaced apart and attached to a rigid support plate. Attached to the support plate is a rotating alignment rod and a rotating tensioning rod that the unwound sections of tape travel across. The adhesive surface on the first roll is pressed against the desired surface. The tool is then pulled across the surface causing both rolls to simultaneously unwind. When the desired amount of tape has been dispense, a cutting edge on the hand tool is used to cut the two unwound sections of tape. The adhesive surface on the second roll is exposed and a large masking sheet may attached thereto.

摘要： An offset, double-sided tape dispenser. The dispenser mounts two independent rolls of single surface adhesive tape on a common spindle. One of the rolls is inverted resulting in one roll wound clockwise and the other roll wound counter clockwise. The tapes are simultaneously drawn from the two rolls through a guide, across a roller and then a cutter. The clockwise wound roll tape has its adhesive surface facing upward as the tape crosses the roller. The counter clockwise wound roll tape has its adhesive surface facing downward as the tape crosses the roller. The clockwise wound roll tape is positioned beneath the counter clockwise wound tape as the tape passes through the guide. This results in the counter clockwise tape being joined to the clockwise tape as both tapes pass over the roller. The resulting double sided adhesive tape is then formed into desired lengths by the cutter. The degree of single tape overlap, resulting offset and resulting width of the resulting double sided adhesive tape is determined by the width of the guide.

The apparatus is configured for application of parallel strips of tape, as lateral plates holding tape are adjusted laterally dependent on the width desired intermediate the tape strips. At least two oppositely disposed tape holders are attached to the lateral plates and are configured collinear to at least two spool members and at least two distal and proximal rollers. The collinear nature of the tape holders, spools, and rollers allow the tape to be applied to the surface in a parallel fashion with a specifically set intermediate distance.
