摘要： The present invention provides a label printer, including an upper cover module and a bottom case module configured to cooperate with the upper cover module in printing. An elastic wall is disposed at an articulating part between the upper cover module and the bottom case module. An inclined surface is provided at a corresponding position of the lower cover module. When the upper cover is opened upward to the maximum extent, a tail end of the elastic wall cooperates with the inclined surface to form a support structure to prevent the upper cover module from falling due to the gravity and the like when the upper cover module is opened.

摘要： A document managing method for a printing device is provided. The document managing method includes the following steps. Firstly, a printing mechanism prints a document with plural papers, and transfers the plural papers to a paper collection platform. Then, a management module manages the plural papers from two lateral sides of the plural papers. Then, a paper ejection module ejects a first portion of the plural papers at a first speed, and then ejects a second portion of the plural papers at a second speed. Consequently, the plural papers are exited from the paper collection platform. Then, the management module is separated from the two lateral sides of the plural papers, so that the plural papers fall down to a supporting tray. The first speed is faster than the second speed.

The cassette attachment-detachment detection sensor detects attachment or detachment of the paper feed cassette. The paper presence-absence detection sensor detects paper absence when the paper feed cassette is withdrawn from the apparatus body. The sensor failure determination section determines that the paper presence-absence detection sensor is in failure. The alarm control section, when passage of the paper is not detected before passage of a predefined time period, alarms that the feeding of the paper has failed.

摘要： A reflection plate is integrally formed with a medium guide placed on a side opposite a side on which a reflective photosensor is placed with a conveying path of banknotes between. Light emitted from a light emitting portion of the reflective photosensor is reflected from the reflection plate at the time of the absence of the banknotes so as not to directly return to the reflective photosensor. This prevents the reflective photosensor from erroneously detecting the medium guide at the time of the absence of media on the basis of light reflected from the medium guide. The medium guide and the reflection plate are integrally formed. Accordingly, additional parts or additional assembly is not required and a low-cost medium detector can be realized.
