摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit that forms an image on a recording medium; a recording medium stacking unit including a stacking member having a stacking surface on which the recording medium having the image formed by the image forming unit is stacked, an outside member that is located at the outside of the stacking surface so as to extend in a substantially vertical direction to the stacking surface and detachably mounted in the recording medium stacking unit, and a support member having a support portion that supports the stacking member; an outside member recognizing unit that recognizes whether the outside member is mounted on the recording medium stacking unit, or not; and a controller that controls one of a maximum number of recording media to be stacked and a maximum height of stack of recording media in the recording medium stacking unit according to whether the outside member recognizing unit recognizes that the outside member is mounted, or not.

摘要： The typical configuration of an image processing apparatus includes a document stacking means on which documents are stacked, a recording medium stacking means on which recording medium are stacked, and a feeding roller for feeding documents or recording medium from the document stacking means or the recording medium stacking means. The feeding roller is located above the recording medium stacking means, and at least the lower end of the recording medium stacking means is movable in the direction approaching or moving away from the feeding roller. The document stacking means is attached above and substantially parallel to the recording medium stacking means, at a predetermined interval. Further, the document stacking means does not have a support portion at a location corresponding to the feeding roller, and is moved as the recording medium stacking means is moved.

摘要： The present application discloses a post-processing apparatus which performs a predetermined process after an image formation process performed by an image formation apparatus. The post-processing apparatus includes an ejection tray, which supports a sheet stack, in which sheets are stacked, and a curl prevention portion including a first tray cursor, which abuts an upper surface of the sheet stack on the ejection tray to prevent the sheet stack from curling. The curl prevention portion includes an angle changer, which changes an inclination angle of the first tray cursor with respect to the ejection tray. The angle changer sets the inclination angle to a first value when a number of sheets is a first number. The angle changer sets the inclination angle to a second value different from the first value when the number of the sheets is a second number different from the first number.
