摘要： A wearable tissue receptacle having: a main unit having: a lower part; and a ribbed bridge disposed on the lower part, the ribbed bridge comprising a plurality of ribs, wherein the ribs form a rounded arch; a strap configured to be attached to the main unit, wherein the strap is configured to secure the main unit to a user; a securing ridge disposed on the main unit and a securing cavity disposed on the main unit, wherein the securing ridge is configured to be selectively engage with the securing cavity to secure a tissue bundle to the main unit. The wearable tissue receptacle is configured to provide an attached user with easy to access to a tissue bundle for wiping their nose, face, etc., which may be replaced quickly and easily. The wearable tissue receptacle may thusly be configured to prevent or reduce the proliferation of germs and viruses.

摘要： Devices and methods are disclosed for protecting individuals from the sharp ends of medical objects following use on a patient. Such sharp objects include hypodermic needles, scalpel blades, cannulae, trocars, and the like. The invention utilizes a disposable protective cover for the used sharp. The protective cover is designed to surround and embed the sharp in a permanent cover that is blunt and will not permit further puncture or cutting with the sharp. In an embodiment, the protective cover also absorbs any fluids on or in the used sharp and prevents any fluids from escaping the protective cover. The sharp cover is configured to irreversibly lock, once closed. A refillable or replaceable dispenser dispenses the protective covers at points of use. A disposable receptacle receives the used sharp embedded in the protective cover. When the receptacle is full, the entire receptacle may be discarded in a medical waste container.

Soiled tissues are individually contained in single plastic bags that are folded to contain consumed tissue. Upon being placed and contained within the single plastic bags, the consumed tissue can be disposed of in a trash can without contact between consumed tissues with other persons. Spread of infection by bacteria, virus or fungi otherwise caused by contact with soiled tissue is substantially prevented. A folded plastic bag containing soiled tissue is, alternatively, inserted into a second bag, which is also folded prior to disposal.

摘要： A tissue box with disposal compartment includes a conventional compartment for the holding and dispensing of new tissues, and a second compartment for the disposal of used tissue which folds out from a side of the new tissue compartment. The used tissue disposal compartment is integrally attached to the new tissue dispensing compartment, having a common side wall therewith, and may be arranged in a folded position against the common side wall when not in use, or in an extended position for receiving used tissue. Two foldable side walls unfold into the extended position, with the fourth side wall being attached to the outer edge of the two folding side walls. A bottom wall is foldingly attached at the lower end of the common side wall so that when bent up, into the folded position, it lies against the common side wall, while in the extended position it rotates down to form the bottom of the used tissue compartment. The bottom wall may be attached to the lower end of the fourth side wall by a tab extending from the bottom wall and a tab opening in the lower portion of that lower side wall. Attachment of one or more narrow strips of flexible material between the two foldable side walls at their lower edges provides support for the bottom wall and also holds the foldable walls from bowing outwards. The tissue box with disposal compartment may be formed from a single paperboard blank.
