摘要： Each of the first and second side panels of a tubular carton includes a notional longitudinal line disposed at an elevation above the bottom panel that is below the elevation of the shoulders of the bottles. At least one of the opposed ends of the tubular carton is closed by a composite end wall. The composite end wall includes pair of first and second side end closure flaps hingedly connected to the side panels of the carton along first fold lines respectively. Each of the first fold lines is interrupted by a pair of at least substantially triangular panels, each of the pairs of at least substantially triangular panels is formed such that a lowermost triangular panel of the pair is disposed below the respective notional longitudinal line and such that an uppermost triangular panel of the pair is disposed above the respective notional longitudinal line.

The carton comprises a top wall, opposed side walls, an end wall and an article dispenser. The side walls are disposed alongside the ends of the articles of the group while the end wall is disposed adjacent to the side walls of the adjacent endmost articles. The dispenser includes a corner portion of the carton formed from and detachably connected to the top, side and end walls to be removed from the carton to thereby define an opening for exposing at least some of the articles for removal. The opening is shaped to define a recess in each side wall to reveal at least a part of the endmost article in the lowermost tier of the article group.

The bottle opener comprises a panel and an opening extending from a front side to a back side of the panel. The opening extends through the perimeter wall and has a size configured to receive a bottle cap therein. An upper lip and a lower lip are coupled to the opening and each of the upper and lower lips are configured for receiving a lower edge of the bottle cap such that the bottle cap is removed when upward force is applied to the lower edge of the bottle cap.

摘要： A cooler carton for items such as beverage containers is erected from a blank. The erected carton has top panels forming a top with a central longitudinal perforation line and oblique cut-creases and perforation lines extending from ends of the central perforation line to corners of the top. Pulling up and back on flaps at end portions of the top severs the oblique cut-creases and perforation lines and severs the top along the central perforation line thereby opening the top and forming a containment skin that extends above the level of the items in the carton. Ice can then be added atop the items to cool their contents and the ice is contained by the skirt. Gussets are formed at lower corner portions of the carton and, along with a moisture barrier, prevent accumulated water from leaking from the bottom region of the carton.
