摘要： An inspection system for a wind power generator includes a drone that transmits image information obtained by capturing images of a wind power generator and the surroundings of the wind power generator, and sensor detection information for detecting the wind power generator and the surroundings of the wind power generator; an inspection server that receives, from the drone, the image information and the sensor detection information as a transmission; and a mobile device that receives the image information and the sensor detection information, and controls operation of the drone by transmitting at least one instruction to the drone. On the basis of at least one piece of information from among the image information and the sensor detection information, the inspection server may identify a location of the wind power generator and inspect a current state of the wind power generator.

摘要： An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has a flight-only mode with a motor only rotating propellers and not rotating on-board wheels to configure the UAV to fly away from a surface of a structure, and a crawling-only mode in which the UAV is configured to crawl on the surface due to the motor only rotating the wheels while not rotating the propellers. In the flight-only mode, a clutch disengages a motor from the wheels so that the motor only engages the propellers to fly to lift from the surface. In the crawling-only mode, the clutch disengages the motor from the propellers so that the motor only engages the wheels to move the UAV on the surface.

摘要： The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle having multifunctional leg assembly and charging system, including unmanned aerial vehicle and charging station. The UAV includes obstacle avoidance sensors, flight control module, first signal processing module, electric undercarriage and power charge/storage module. The charging station includes power charge/supply module. The obstacle avoidance sensors sense obstacles near the UAV to generate obstacle sensing signals. The first signal processing module interprets and processes the obstacle sensing signals to determine whether there is an obstacle near the UAV, and when the judgment result is yes, an avoidance instruction is transmitted to the flight control module, so that the flight control module drives the UAV to avoid the obstacle. The electric undercarriage includes first leg frame, second leg frame and electric driving mechanism. The electric driving mechanism drives the first leg frame and the second leg frame to fold and unfold alternately. The power charge/storage module includes first positive electrode and first negative electrode. The charging station includes power charge/supply module. The power charge/supply module includes second positive electrode and second negative electrode. When the UAV parks on a platform of the charging station, and the first positive electrode and the first negative electrode are in contact with the second positive electrode and the second negative electrode, then the power charge/supply module charges electricity to the power charge/storage module.

A scan area associated with the industrial facility is defined. The scan area can be logically partitioned into a plurality of pixels based on information provided by an intelligent agent. A flight plan for a flight of the UAV can be created to cover the pixels of the scan area. The UAV can execute the flight plan and collect time-series navigational data and time-series sensor data as the UAV executes the flight plan. The flight path of the UAV can be dynamically adjusted during the flight by an agent to ensure that the flight path of the UAV covers the scan area. A two-dimensional (2D) image of methane concentration over the scan area can be constructed from the time-series navigational data and the time-series sensor data.

摘要： A repair device and method for repairing damage around the leading edge of a wind turbine blade (20) are provided. The repair device includes a robotic maintenance device (40) and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (62) that can move the maintenance device (40) between a storage position and an operation position, the former being mounted on a blade (20) of the wind turbine (10). The UAV (62) hovers and remains connected to the maintenance device (40) during operations at the blade (20) to minimize a total operational downtime needed to conduct the repair actions. The UAV (62) is secured to the maintenance device (40) by at least one support line (68) that carries the weight load of the maintenance device (40) and at least two control lines (72) that prevent undesired rotations of the maintenance device (40), thereby improving precision and accuracy of UAV-driven movements of the maintenance device (40). A transport container (24) may also be provided to define the storage position, the transport container (24) including an elongated slot (70) for guiding movement of the lines (68, 72) and the maintenance device (40) during movements into and out of a storage space within the container (24).
