    • A rear structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle includes a rear fender made of resin and configured to cover an upper side of a rear wheel the vehicle. The rear fender includes: a bottom portion facing the rear wheel; a first side portion extending upward integrally from each of left and right end portions of the bottom portion; and a bending portion formed integrally with the bottom portion to be bendable at a hinge portion provided therebetween, and configured to be bent and stood upright from the bottom portion, and joined to the first side portion to form a second side portion. Since the second side portion is formed by bending and standing the bending portion from the bottom portion, and joining the bending portion to the first side portion, there is no need to engage a tip end of the bending portion with the bottom portion.

    • Among other things, a structure supports the ischial tubularities of a user of a device to which the structure is attached, while gravity is applying a downward force on the ischial tubularities and the user's legs are engaged in motion during which forces are being applied that tend to cause the user's respective ischial tubularities to move relative to a frame of the device. The structure includes two buttock supports having surfaces against which the bottom surfaces of the user's respective buttocks bear during the motion. A mechanism connects the two buttock supports to the frame of the device to permit simultaneously (1) free motion of the two buttock supports (a) up and down relative to a frame of the device and (b) back and forth relative to the frame of the device and (2) free variation of the angular orientations of the bottom surfaces of the user's buttocks back and forth, relative to a hypothetical horizontal plane that is fixed relative to the frame of the device.

    • A bicycle seat (10) has first and second support members (12, 14) each with a proximal end (12a, 14a) attaching to a seat post (P) of a bicycle (B). The support members extend in opposite directions from the post from their proximal ends to a distal end (12b, 14b) which extends above the post. A pivot pin (16) is located at the distal end of each support member. A seat cover (18) comprises of a web of material extending between the distal ends of the support members, the cover being sufficiently strong to support the weight of a bicycle rider. The material fits on seat frame (20) which pivotally mounts the seat using the pivot pins for the seat to freely move under the weight of a bicycle rider and cushion the rider as the bicycle moves over uneven surfaces.
