摘要： A cart cover device is disclosed that comprises a body component comprised of a protective tube. The body component of the device is then placed around the handle of a shopping cart and secured to prevent contact of the user's hand with the possibly contaminated handle. Once placed on the shopping cart handle, the body component would conform to the handle and allow the user to use the handle as they would without the cover. Thus, the device is designed to prevent contamination from the pathogens found on cart handles.

摘要： A sanitary covering is retrofit over an existing handle or railing, particularly a shopping cart handle. A stability-enhancing element in the form of compression foam is adhesively secured to an existing handle. A metal cover, such as of anodized aluminum, with a pathogen-eliminating outer surface (such as a biocidal or antimicrobial coating), jackets the compression foam. The cover may be in two parts having elements interlocking them together so as to be securely attached together and securely engage the compression foam. A method of retrofitting a sanitary covering over an existing handle or rail is also provided utilizing a stability-enhancing element and a metal cover with a biocidal or antimicrobial outer coating.

The hooks are configured to position bags such that their labels are each visible from the same side of the hook attachment. The hooks may include first and second hooks coupled to first and second longitudinally extending portions, respectively. The first and second hooks are configured to have first and second bags, respectively, hung therefrom. The first and second longitudinally extending portions are sufficiently spaced apart vertically to allow the labels of the first and second bags to be visible. The hooks may include front and rear hooks connected to a longitudinally extending body portion. The front and rear hooks have first and second portions, respectively, whereat front and rear bags, respectively, are positioned when hung therefrom. The first portions are below the second portions.

摘要： A flexible plastic strip to cover a handle such as, for example, that common to a conventional shopping cart to prevent a shopper's hands from coming into direct contact with the handle. According to a preferred embodiment, a pair of strip holders are detachably connected in surrounding engagement to the handle. The strip holders are spaced from one another and slidable along the handle. Each of the pair of strip holders has a hook projecting therefrom. The ends of the flexible strip are attached to the pair of strip holders at respective ones of the hooks thereof. The flexible strip can be removed from the strip holders and discarded in order to avoid the spread of germs, viruses and other disease-causing micro-organisms which lie on the handle.
