    • An inside mirror assembly for a vehicle may include a housing which has an opening portion formed at a front side thereof, a fixed reflective plate which is fixed and mounted to the opening portion of the housing, a tilting reflective plate which is tiltably mounted in the housing, and disposed parallel to a rear surface of the fixed reflective plate in a day reflective mode, or disposed so that an upper end portion of the tilting reflective plate is tiltable rearward at a predetermined angle on a basis of a lower end portion of the tilting reflective plate in order to reduce light reflectivity in a night reflective mode, and a tilting operation mechanism which is connected with the tilting reflective plate, mounted inside and outside of the housing, and adjusts a tilting angle of the tilting reflective plate.

    • A shape memory actuator includes a supporting body, a driven element pivotably mounted on the supporting body and in permanent contact with a driving element whose movement is determined by a SMA actuating member and by at least one resilient return member acting in opposition to the SMA actuating member. The driven element is able to take two stable positions under the action of a bistable moving system connecting the driving element to the driven element such that each toggling between the two stable positions is due to an activation of the SMA actuating member, the latter being arranged together with the bistable moving system. The resilient return member, the driving element and the driven element on a same side of the supporting body are in a substantially co-planar arrangement.

    • An interior rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mounting structure configured to mount to an interior portion of a vehicle, a housing, a reflective element disposed at the housing and an actuator disposed in the housing and connected to the reflective element. The actuator includes a first motor connected to the reflective element via a first drive element and a second motor connected to the reflective element via a second drive element. Responsive to an input, the actuator may be operable to adjust an orientation of the reflective element in tandem with the housing relative to the mounting structure. The first and second motors may operate in tandem to adjust the orientation of the reflective element and the housing relative to the mounting structure. The actuator may adjust the reflective element responsive to a user input, a glare sensor and/or a driver eye tracking system of the vehicle.
