The seat device (15) comprises first vertical leg sections (51, 52) at the front of the first seat cushion (41), these vertical leg sections (51, 52) extending vertically downward. First horizontal sections (54, 55) extend horizontally forward from the lower ends of the first vertical leg sections (51, 52), and are rotatably connected to a first slider (48) which is slidably connected to a fixed rail (35). In the seating position of the first seat cushion (41), the lower ends of the first vertical leg sections (51, 52) are supported by the floor.

摘要： A vehicle seat assembly for storage in a floor tub within a vehicle floor. The seat assembly includes a seat frame defining a translational axis and a longitudinal axis. The seat assembly also includes a mounting system for mounting the seat frame to the floor tub for selective rotation between a deployed design configuration and a fully tumbled stored-in-floor configuration, with the seat frame being inside the floor tub in the stored-in-floor configuration. Notably, the seat assembly further includes a lateral translation system for positive inboard displacement of the seat frame along the translational axis during the selective rotation of the seat frame from the design configuration towards the stored-in-floor configuration. In the design configuration, the medial seat axis is laterally off-set from a central tub axis defined by the floor tub. In the stored-in-floor configuration, the medial seat axis is aligned with the central tub axis.

A rod is connected at a first end to a spaced side member and at a second end to the front leg. The seat cushion is automatically laterally displaced relative to the front legs in response to pivotal movement of the seat cushion relative to the front legs due to changes in the effective length of the rod.

The seat portion is secured to a strap framework secured to a vehicle via two vertical support straps. A shoulder harness secures an occupant and has two strap portions in the vicinity of the occupant's back, each strap portion extending vertically between a releasable securement on a vehicle roof and a rear end of the seat portion. The two strap portions are deflected at the rear end and are then guided in a crossed manner beneath the sitting surface of the seat portion to securements disposed near the front edge of the seat portion. The shoulder harness has two shoulder straps held on the strap portions and extending to releasable securements near the front edge of the seat portion. The shoulder straps have a releasable cross connection for their interconnection over an applicant's chest.

摘要： A vehicle seat having an upwardly-foldable seat cushion that includes an engagement piece projecting from the rear end of the seat cushion and an under cover below the seat having an upper panel portion having an upwardly sloped surface. A forwardly-and-rearwardly extending guide groove formed in that upper panel portion which allows the engagement piece to be moved therein, without its contact with the upwardly sloped surface of the upper panel portion, when the rear end of the seat cushion is slidingly brought to a lower end of a set back. Ribs are formed in a bottom surface of the guide groove. The guide groove allows forward-and-rearward movement of the engagement piece therein, so that the engagement piece can be pressed against and frictionally engaged with the lower end of the seat back, without being caught by the upwardly sloped surface of the upper panel portion.
