摘要： A user interface apparatus includes a first user interface configured to display host information; and a second user interface configured to display guest information, and to transmit the guest information to the first user interface if a linking signal for the guest information is received, wherein the first user interface displays the guest information by changing the host information to the guest information. Therefore, by integrating a cluster which is a first user interface with a center fascia which is a second user interface to implement a large area screen, and linking information between the cluster and the center fascia, it is possible to reduce attention dispersion during driving, to improve a driver's recognition rate, and to improve a driver's convenience.

摘要： An in-vehicle controller recognizes that a predetermined driver is operating a vehicle, and, based upon the driver, denies access to an in-vehicle reward feature set. The in-vehicle controller receives data from at least one vehicle system, the data being indicative of driving behavior of the driver, and compares the data with i) positive metrics and ii) negative metrics to categorize the driving behavior. The in-vehicle controller recognizes, from the comparison, that the data matches a predetermined number of the positive metrics, and categorizes the driving behavior as positive driving behavior. In response to the positive driving behavior, a signal is provided; and responsive to the signal, the driver is rewarded by granting access to at least one member of the previously denied in-vehicle reward feature set.

A processor-controlled display provides visual notifications of notifications and tasks according to a dynamically prioritized queue which takes into account environmental conditions and driving context and available driver attention. The safety controller system may additionally include a feature disabling module for disabling a feature of the electronic device based on detected motion conditions determined from the received data and a feature enabling module for enabling the feature of the electronic device based on a detected lack of motion determined from the received data.
