摘要： An open roof assembly is configured for providing a closable roof opening in a vehicle roof. Thereto, the open roof assembly comprises a closure member that is moveably arranged for opening and closing the roof opening and a detection system for detecting an object in the roof opening. The detection system is configured to provide an entrapment signal if a foreign object is detected in the roof opening, when the closure member is moving and a collision may occur. The detection system is further configured to provide an operating signal, when an object is detected performing a predefined action. Based on the operating signal a control unit may execute an associated function.

摘要： An open roof construction for a vehicle having a roof opening in a fixed roof part, comprises a first panel and a second panel for at least closing first and second portions of the roof opening. The first panel is movably supported by an operating mechanism guided in a guide rail. A rear support member partly moves alongside the second panel when the first panel moves above the second panel. The seal of the second panel and/or of the fixed roof part being such that the rear support member is enabled to pass between the second panel and the fixed roof part. The seal for the second panel extends, in lateral sense, more inwardly than the seal of the first panel at the rear thereof when in the closed position, the rear support member passing between the seal on the holding member and the second panel.

摘要： A drive mechanism for vehicle movable panels having a first slide mechanism having a rod and a sled with a tilt lever, the rod being coupled with the tilt lever for pivoting the tilt lever in a first state and the rod being decoupled from the tilt lever in a second state such that the tilt lever is movable relative to the rod and relative to the guide rail along the first direction, the sled comprising a holding element. In a first position the holding element is locked to the guide rail such that the sled is latched relative to the guide rail and in a second position the sled is movable relative to the guide rail to transmit a movement of the sled along the first direction to a second slide mechanism and the holding element holds the tilt lever, when the rod is decoupled from the tilt lever.

摘要： A roof system includes a closure that opens a roof opening in a vehicle. An operating mechanism for the closure includes a first device including a lever configured to move the rear edge of the closure towards a raised position above the roof. A second device includes a lever configured to move the front edge of the closure in a vertical direction. At least one of the levers has a first pivotal connection at a first end of the closure, and spaced second and third connections connecting the respective lever at least to a guiding slide. At least one of the levers is pivotally connected to a sliding member at one of said second and third connections. The sliding member is separate from the guiding slide, slides in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail and is supported by the guide rail in directions perpendicularly to the longitudinal sliding direction.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a retractable roof system that provides slidable roof sections for vehicles and truck bed shells/caps, where the cargo area roof panels and rear window panel (hatch above tailgate) may be moved forward and above the seating area roof section, by means of a telescoping track system. Additionally, as applied to vehicles, the roof section above the seating areas may be moved rearward and above the cargo area roof section. The retractable roof system truck bed shell/cap assembly will come in segments that can be stored and shipped in a relatively small container. The shell/cap structure is composed of metal frame members and window panels. Right and left telescoping track assemblies are mounted on the metal frame members, with roof panels secured between them. Side and front window panels are attached to the exterior of the metal frame members to form the shell/cap walls. The rear window panel is attached to the rear roof panel by the means of a hinge and will pivot up onto the rear roof panel before the roof panels are moved forward and above the truck cab. An optional lumber/sport rack set may be mounted to the top of the left and right track assemblies.
