摘要： A sand storage and deposition tank is disposed proximate to each wheel of the vehicle for depositing sand preferably ahead of its corresponding wheel to reduce skidding of the vehicle. Each tank has a valve associated therewith that is preferably hydraulically operated via a fluid conduit coupling to the master cylinder of the vehicle so that upon application of the brakes the sand can be deposited. Each tank may be fed from a supply tank or may itself comprise separate tank compartments including a lower compartment from which the sand is deposited and an upper compartment that fills the lower compartment but only when the lower compartment is not depositing sand.

摘要： A slip stop device for a vehicle is proposed in which slip stop material can be easily resupplied and it can be reliably scattered near the ground contact portions of tires. A cartridge for storing the slip stop material includes a tubular container having its opening at its top end closed by a film. By inserting a pipe connecting to piping for supplying positive pressure and a pipe connected to a piping for discharging the slip stop material into the cartridge through the film, the slip stop material can be easily resupplied without spilling out. Also, it is possible to reliably scatter the slip stop material stored in the cartridge near the ground contact portions of tires.

摘要： An apparatus for enhancing traction for two drive wheels of a self-propelled vehicle, wherein the kit includes a reservoir coupled to a primary conduit through selective actuation of a solenoid valve. The primary conduit is in fluid communication with a secondary conduit, wherein the secondary conduit includes a spray head positioned adjacent each drive wheel of the vehicle. The spray head includes an apertured semi-spherical spray head to disperse fluid to and adjacent the drive wheels to effect melting of snow and ice thereabout. The kit further includes a dispersion brush selectively securable about the nozzle to minimize dirt and debris intrusion into the spray head, and further includes elastomeric cap member to overlie the spray head and enclose the same during periods of non-use.
