摘要： The present invention provides the consumer with a protective book and binding system that allows the consumer to enjoy reading in a variety of environments where the reader may be exposed to water, moisture or other environmental conditions that could damage a conventional paper book. Specifically the present invention relates to a protective book and binding system wherein the protective book includes a protected book cover; a plurality of protected pages within said protective cover wherein said protected pages and protected book cover are impervious to moisture; and a binding means wherein binding means binds said plurality of protected pages within said protective cover. At least two sheets of protective film cover each side of each page in order to form the plurality of protected pages. In an alternative embodiment, the protected pages are manufactured of a durable plastic material.

A rectangular shaped support ridge 26 is coupled in the cavity 24 to inside portions of the enclosure 12. A flexible lid 28 is provided which is pivotably coupled to a back portion of the enclosure 12. Additionally, a planar shaped desktop member 50 is pivotably coupled to the enclosure adjacent to and between the lid 28 and the support ridge 26. An elevating member 52 is pivotably coupled to an outermost end of the desktop member 50. As a result a desktop bible carrying case 10 is provided to carry a bible 60 and a pad 62 in the open area 24 until they are removed therefrom and positioned on the desktop member 50 for use.

摘要： A photo album case or other storage container is formed with an outer shell having laterally enclosing walls and an end structure opposite an open end to the shell. At least one transparent display panel is formed in the shell, and preferably the shell is formed from a single sheet of transparent stock. A stiff, inner display retainer is inserted into the open end of the shell and fits into the storage cavity defined within the shell. The display retainer conforms to the shape of at least the transparent display panel wall. The display retainer preferably extends beyond the display wall to extend across another of the inner shell surfaces immediately adjacent thereto. A visual display sheet, such as a photographic print, is located between the transparent display wall and the display retainer. The display sheet may be merely inserted in between the transparent display wall and the display retainer, or it may be mounted upon either the retainer or the inner surface of the transparent display panel wall. In any of these arrangements the display retainer presses against the visual display sheet to hold it firmly against the central area of the display wall. The visual display sheet thereby provides an indicia of the contents of the storage container.

摘要： A comic book case includes a base and a cover configured to compress and secure a comic book in place under frictional pressure such that the book cannot easily shift or slip within the case. Prior art cases that included walls surrounding the top, bottom and side edges of a book typically allowed some free movement or slippage of the book between the walls. This movement or slippage could result in damage such as curling or crinkling of the edges of the book if the case were exposed to a physical shock, such as by being dropped. The base includes a raised base platform and the cover includes a depressed cover platform, which extends towards the base platform to create a space within which the book is securely held.
