摘要： An improved device is disclosed for holding down textile the material on the platen of the digital printer. The device includes a textile gripping material formed to define a border band on the periphery of the platen. The border material has a structure that engages/grips the textile and hold the textile in place. In operation, the textile is laid onto the platen surface and the edges are pulled taut to align the textile and remove wrinkles and the textile is next pressed onto the border material to be engaged by the border material. The border material grips and holds the textile in position, to provide a smooth textile surface on which the ink jets are applied. After the printing operation, the textile is lifted off of the border material and removed from the platen.

During printing, the movable platen moves in the same direction as the printed paper being printed, to maintain the printed paper in a single orientation and at one standard distance in relation to the printing head, to ensure the same quality of printing on the last part of the printed paper as well as on the beginning part.

摘要： An apparatus for mitigating noise in a printer can include a plate having a plurality of holes distributed across the plate and extending through the plate. A portion of the plurality of holes can be dimensioned and configured to absorb acoustic noise across a given frequency band and another portion of the plurality of holes can be dimensioned and configured to absorb acoustic noise across another frequency band in a media path of a printer. The apparatus further can include an acoustic baffling material to cover the plate and that can be configured to dampen the acoustic noise across the given frequency band and the other frequency band.

摘要： An adhesive printing material assembly includes a transport material and one or more adhesive printing materials that are releasably affixed to the transport material. The transport material can be a standard-sized sheet of paper that, in some instances, is a blank paper. The adhesive printing materials, such as Post-its each include an adhesive portion and a non-adhesive portion on the same side of the adhesive printing material. The adhesive portion is releasably affixed to the transport material, which enables the adhesive printing materials it to be fed through the printing device while affixed to the transport materials. After printing, the adhesive printing materials can be removed from the transport material without causing damage to either the adhesive printing materials or the transport material, thereby enabling the transport material to be reused for a subsequent and standard printing application.
