摘要： Disclosed are methods, compositions, structures and uses for a biaxially oriented, multilayered film that may include a core layer comprising LLDPE, such as mLLDPE, wherein the core layer is flanked by a first skin layer and a second skin layer. This same type (e.g., melting index, density, and/or melting peak) of LLDPE, or different type(s) or blends thereof may be in the first skin layer and/or the second skin layer, wherein the first skin layer is located on a first side of the core layer, and the second skin layer is located on a second of the core layer, wherein the first side is on an opposite side of the core layer as compared to the second side. The biaxially oriented, multilayered film may have a sealing strength of at least 400 g/cm at 100° C. under a pressure of 41 N/cm2 at a dwell time of 0.75 s.

摘要： Articles comprising an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane having serpentine fibrils and having a discontinuous coating of a fluoropolymer thereon are provided. The fluoropolymer may be located at least partially in the pores of the expanded fluoropolymer membrane. In exemplary embodiments, the fluoropolymer is fluorinated ethylene propylene. The application of a tensile force at least partially straightens the serpentine fibrils, thereby elongating the article. The expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane may include a microstructure of substantially only fibrils. The articles can be elongated to a predetermined point at which further elongation is inhibited by a dramatic increase in stiffness. In one embodiment, the articles are used to form a covered stent device that requires little force to distend in the radial direction to a first diameter but is highly resistant to further distension to a second diameter (stop point). A large increase in diameter can advantageously be achieved prior to reaching the stop point.

The second surface includes a plurality of protuberances in a pattern. The hydroformed expanded spun bonded web has an average loft of at least about 1.3 times greater than an original average loft of an original unexpanded spun bonded nonwoven web from which the hydroformed expanded spun bonded nonwoven web was created, and an air permeability of at least about 1.2 times greater than an original air permeability of the original unexpanded spun bonded nonwoven web.

摘要： The plurality of pieces of low density cellular material, such as foam plastics, form a core panel having opposite side surfaces and with adjacent pieces having opposing edge surfaces extending between the side surfaces. Sheets of flexible material, such as veils or mats or scrim, are adhesively attached to the side surfaces, and portions of one sheet extend between the opposing adjacent edge surfaces for limiting flexing of the panel. The pieces may be tapered, and portions of the one sheet may project between the edge surfaces either partially or fully to form double wall webs. The webs may have flanges adhesively attached to the other sheet on the opposite side. One sheet may also be stretchable in areas not adhesively attached to the pieces to provide for curving the panel from a planar position maintained by the sheet on the opposite side.
